RM’s Shortest Weverse Live In His Career: Fans Shocked After Learning The Reason

Runch Randa, Largo, The Nexist, Stealo, or Rap Monster — RM has gone through plenty of name changes. But there’s one nickname that everyone agrees on, and even he can’t deny: “God of Destruction”

While RM is admired in public as a songwriting genius with a reported IQ of 148 and the brilliant leader of K-pop powerhouse BTS, at “home,” he’s more like a "silly bear" who constantly needs looking after — thanks to his legendary carelessness. Over the years, fans have heard countless stories from the other members (or seen firsthand) his hilarious habit of breaking whatever he touches.

The most recent “victim”? His phone — and it all happened during what’s now dubbed “the shortest live broadcast in BTS history.”

Just a few hours ago, ARMYs were pleasantly surprised to receive a Weverse Live notification titled “Namjoon: from the bottom of the ocean :)” and eagerly tuned in. RM appeared on screen with a underwater-themed filter — complete with bubbles and floating fish — perfectly matching the stream’s quirky title.

Fans were immediately delighted by the creative setup, but it didn’t take long before many noticed soмєтнing odd: they couldn’t hear RM at all during the first couple of minutes. As the comments flooded in to alert him that his audio wasn’t working, a look of pure disappointment washed over his face.

In a defeated tone, RM tried to explain the situation: “Oh sh1t. I think my mic is fvcked up. I just dropped them in water and like I think that's why. Holy sh1t. I think I gotta. Alright ahhh fvck okay. I think I gotta dry the phone again bye.”

As it turns out, the stream’s title wasn’t just a metaphor — RM had literally submerged his phone underwater, which explained the damaged mic. Though he thought he had saved it in time, the microphone wasn’t so lucky. Just two minutes into the broadcast, he was forced to end it prematurely.

Afterward, RM posted a message on Weverse to apologize and explain the sudden end to the live: “No but like the mic is not getting fixed...[as for the live...] later on with the members ^^;; (head scratch) I'm sorry !! [cutely]. I'm sorry, mic broken issue".

And just like that, “God of Destruction” made his iconic return — much to fans’ amusement. The incident quickly went viral on social media, sparking a wave of hilarious comments:
