Not only do the members of BTS have personal Instagram accounts, they have long operated individual artist accounts on online music streaming platforms to release their solo projects. This is not merely a technical separation, but rather reflects a strategic shift in each member’s career after many years of working under the group’s brand.
Releasing solo music through dedicated artist accounts on platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music allows each member to build an independent musical identity. They have the space to experiment with genres, tell personal stories, and shape their own sonic color without being blended into a collective label. As they enter a new chapter of their careers, “BTS” remains the shared brand, but each individual is also recognized as a fully-fledged independent artist.
On the other hand, Spotify and Apple Music accounts also carry strategic importance in terms of market presence and media visibility, making their role even more crucial. That is why even the slightest change on these accounts is enough to draw intense attention from fans. Recently, an unusual incident involving the accounts of RM and Jin has left the ARMY community deeply concerned.
Specifically, on February 27, some fans discovered that a mysterious album titled “Entre Ursos E Moras” had suddenly appeared in the album list on RM’s Spotify account. All of the tracks in this album were credited to RM. However, what is critical is that the songs were identified as AI-generated and had never been officially announced as a release by him or by BTS.

The situation did not end there. Around the same time, Jin’s Apple Music account experienced a similar issue. An anonymous song titled “Love Me” was υиєχρє¢тє∂ly uploaded to his official account, despite not being written, produced, or officially released by Jin.

The fact that these two incidents occurred almost simultaneously has led fans to question whether the music accounts of BTS members may be facing security issues. Moreover, fans feel even more unsettled seeing the members’ names αѕѕociated with AI-generated products — a particularly sensitive subject within the artistic community. The appearance of AI-created content on the official accounts of major artists like BTS without verification also raises concerns about the review processes and security systems of streaming platforms.
In response to these developments, ARMYs’ immediate action has been to call on HYBE and the relevant streaming platforms to step in, investigate, and promptly fix these display errors. If you would like to participate, please support by tweeting for Jin: “Hello, an anonymous song is uploaded on #JIN's Official Apple Music Account. Please have a look and fix it. @AppleMusic @AppleSupport @BIGHIT_MUSIC @bts_bigнιт @BTS_twt @HYBEOFFICIALtwt”.
And tweeting for RM using the following format: “Hello, we informed you that RM official @Spotify account has a new AI generated album. No official announcement has been made but it shows new album on his name so maybe someone hacked his account, Fix it please @BTS_twt @bts_bigнιт @BIGHIT_MUSIC @SpotifyCares @HYBEOFFICIALtwt”.
On social media, fans have also shared numerous comments regarding these back-to-back incidents:
- At first I didn't see and thought we were promoting or sum but I just realized it's true. Why did this happen to BTS alone?
- It’s not a hack this is soмєтнing that alot of AI “artists” do to steal streams you can report it to Spotify. It’s been happening on all streaming platforms unfortunately.
- Jin too but on Apple Music, seriously I hate this ai sнιт and their so called “””artists”””
- Someone is using their names to release music. This is so embrαѕѕing
- Unfortunatly Spotify doesn’t have great Security when it comes to checking the authenthisity of an album being published through third party publishing sites. Basicly just a «trust me bro» system. So this tends to happen a lot to many artists.
- Soмєтнing similar happened on YTM last year. I used the hybe report portal and it was gone within 48 hours. Last year someone created AI versions of Hobi's songs with RM's voice.
- It's happening to Jimin on Tidal, and I reported to them multiple times and they didn't fix it.
