Since the BTS members completed their military service, they have returned to idol life, and fans have been eagerly following the journey of preparing for the group’s album, which is planned to be released next spring. Most of the members have recently been gathering at the group’s songwriting camp in the U.S. to make music.
This is also a rare period when fans can see the members updating social media with many moments together. j-hope and RM are the two members who often do that!
Meanwhile, SUGA is a completely different case! Since being discharged, he has almost disappeared from the public radar. No social media, no livestreams, no surprise appearances — only occasionally mentioned through stories shared by other members, such as him going to the gym or shopping.
That’s why fans have started to miss the presence of the rapper and become curious about what’s going on in his post-military life. Fulfilling fans’ longing, j-hope recently kindly shared a few videos featuring a brief appearance of SUGA on his personal Instagram.
In most of the frames, SUGA is seen with an electric guitar and surrounded by professional music production equipment. Even though he only appears briefly, the dim lighting in the studio still can’t hide the image of an artist pαѕѕionately creating, completely immersed in the world of sound.

SUGA chose to devote all his energy to music immediately after his discharge without needing a break. Even, "From March to June of this year (while still carrying out his alternative service duties), SUGA spent weekends meeting with children with autism spectrum disorder and participated in the development of the program. He played instruments such as the guitar himself, guiding the children to match rhythm and harmony, interact with music.."
Indeed, if there is anything that defines who he is, it is his love for music – not loud, not flashy, but strong and enduring. But on the other hand, music is also his healing remedy and the most peaceful place for him after many ups and downs during two years without meeting fans.
In a previous interview, when asked: "What does music mean to me?", he himself affirmed: "All-in. If I live my life without music, there will be nothing left."
Even though he hasn’t appeared publicly, the small moments “α¢¢ι∂єитally” revealed by j-hope bring a warm feeling to fans: SUGA is still doing very well, together with his music. Fans are also looking forward to the moment when SUGA and BTS make their comeback with their heartfelt album:
- Yoongi's love for music is the most beautiful thing in the world and there's no limit to what multitalented Yoongi can do
- When Yoongi makes music, that’s him showing love in real time. Music is his love language
- Even in silence, Yoongi speaks through music. I missed him so much
- He didn’t disappear… he was just creating magic
- Seeing him with his guitar again… my heart is full
- Yoongi's quiet dedication is the loudest thing ever
- One glimpse of SUGA and I’m already crying. He’s really back
- He’s not on camera, but his soul is in every note he plays
- That soft studio light, that guitar, that Yoongi. Healing.
- I just know the music they’re working on will heal us the way only BTS can
- Yoongi is pouring his heart into this album, it’s going to be soмєтнing truly powerful
- I’m ready for the kind of music that wraps around your soul — and I know BTS is making exactly that
