I think there is nothing wrong with being friends with BTS members because they are truly the kindest and most generous friends. The recent story that rapper Sleepy shared about RM proves this completely!
On August 11, Sleepy appeared on 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' where he revealed that RM sent him a huge gift for his wedding. The amount of money that RM spent on Sleepy's gift was shared belatedly but became a hot topic among fans.

In case some fans didn't know, rapper Sleepy is a close friend of RM. Rapper Sleepy is a former member of hip hop duo 'The Untouchables'. He was also the one who discovered the BTS leader's talent and introduced RM to the Big Hit Music staff.
On the December 2 episode of SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny', the daily life of rapper Sleepy and his wife, who have been married for three years, was revealed for the first time. An interesting detail in the story of his wedding that excited fans was RM's large sum of wedding monetary gift.
The rapper shared about this special wedding gift and recalled how RM asked for his account number on that occasion. Sleepy mentioned, “He gave a big envelope.” Sleepy explained that even though RM couldn't attend, he sent him a direct message to congratulate and asked for the rapper's bank account information.
Despite not expecting any gift, Sleepy texted the account number as RM requested and eventually received an immediate alert revealing that 10,000,000 KRW had been sent. Sleepy also mentioned that this gift stood out as the most important among all the gifts he received.
When Sleepy revealed this large sum, other guests were amazed at the BTS leader's generosity. Meanwhile, Sleepy also expressed his gratitude that RM had given him such a special gift at his wedding.
During the episode, DinDin also revealed how Sleepy and RM became close friends over the years. They first met in the underground hip-hop scene in кσяєα. Over time, they developed a close friendship and when Bang Si Hyuk, founder of HYBE, asked him about finding a rapper for the BTS project, Sleepy introduced RM to him.
Meanwhile, RM is currently serving his mandatory military service which he began in December 2023. He is expected to be discharged in June 2025!
