If ARMYs remember, on June 13th last year, the day after Jin was discharged from the military, he attended the "Jin Greetings" event at Jamsil Stadium and gave out 1,000 free hugs to lucky fans.

While both Jin and his fans were happy to see each other again after nearly 2 years of military service, an incident turned the experience for everyone worse. Some women tried to kiss him on the cheek, sparking a public controversy over the possibility of ѕєχual harαѕѕment.

Furthermore, one of the two women (hereinafter referred to as A) was found to be a נαραиese woman in her 50s. She even updated a post with some sensitive words, describing that situation on her personal blog. She wrote: "My lips touched his (Jin's) neck. His skin is so soft and smooth." 

On June 19, the ρσℓι¢є received a petition, filed through the National Petition, requesting an investigation under the S3xual Violence Punishment Act. Then, in July last year, ρσℓι¢є requested international cooperation from Interpol נαραи and identified the suspect after about seven months.

On February 27 this year, the ρσℓι¢є officially charged the women under the law on indecent acts in crowded public places and proceeded to file a case, requesting the defendant to appear at the ρσℓι¢є station.

At that time, there was also news from the ρσℓι¢є that they might summon Jin as a victim of ѕєχual αѕѕault by נαραиese female fans.

However, the latest news about the investigation disappointed fans. On March 26, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that they had decided to suspend the investigation into the two women directly involved because they believed the investigation would take a long time.

Sources said that A, who is currently unable to attend the questioning, will likely be present in a few months. The other person, Woman B, has not yet been found.

According to ρσℓι¢є investigation regulations, the investigation can be suspended if the suspect is overseas for more than two months, the suspect's whereabouts are unknown, or they cannot be questioned for a long time due to serious illness or other reasons, making it impossible to investigate and conclude the investigation.

In response to the Seoul ρσℓι¢є's decision, many fans expressed their displeasure that the ρσℓι¢є did not give the harαѕѕer appropriate punishment and that victims like Jin were not protected:

- normalize idols using self-defence on cray cray fans. nothing like good kick to teach some of these people boundaries

- if it was a dude who did that they'll be in jail for years. why stop the investigation? what proof do they need? like they could totally issue a warrant for arrest but they're handling it like it's a minor thing to do.

- Just hand her a lifetime ban to set an example.

- They will never take real action. So disappointed

- Now these fans are the one that needs a wake up call from reality and fantasy

- They said they were working with Interpol נαραи to find out the identity of the woman who kissed Jin, but in the end they gave the reason for the suspension as it would take time to interrogate and not find the other person
