Since completing his mandatory military service in June 2025, Jungkook’s private residence has been targeted multiple times, even during periods when the idol was not in South кσяєα. According to statements from the ρσℓι¢є, at least five cases have been recorded since June last year involving people being fined, arrested, or banned from entering South кσяєα for harαѕѕing the area around the idol’s home. Some even allegedly tried to enter the door code or repeatedly ring his doorbell, while one person reportedly went as far as sneaking into the parking lot.
Fans are no strangers to such behavior from sasaengs, but perhaps few expected that even a rising public figure could inadvertently contribute to the invasion of Jungkook’s privacy at his own home. The person in question this time is Imogen Cantong (@imogencantong on Instagram), a Filipino child singer and actress.
Born into a musical family with parents Kaye and Rey Cantong, members of the band Six Part Invention, Imogen showed her talent from an early age and went on to become a well-known child star in the Philippines. Affectionately known by au∂ιєnces as “Showtime Baby Imogen,” she has made frequent appearances on the popular ABS-CBN program It's Showtime. Her parents’ reputation, combined with a series of children’s нιтs such as “Mini Miss U,” “Sana,” and “Dalandan Shake,” has helped make Imogen one of the most recognizable and beloved young stars in the Philippines today.
However, a recent Instagram post by the child star has somewhat affected the positive impression some fans had of her. In a photo posted on the 19th, Imogen was seen posing directly in front of Jungkook’s private home in Itaewon. The image came with the caption: “Last shot before going home... Bye @mnijungkook!!!”
The post quickly left many fans both surprised and angry, as Imogen not only took a photo in front of Jungkook’s private residence but also publicly shared it on social media. Although similar photos have appeared and circulated online in the past, the fact that a young star with a considerable following shared such an image could further expose Jungkook’s home to an even wider au∂ιєnce.
Jungkook’s home is not a tourist spot or a public space meant for taking photos. Taking pictures in front of someone else’s private residence in this way can be seen as an invasion of their privacy. More importantly, normalizing such images could inadvertently encourage others, especially sasaengs, to continue going to Jungkook’s home to harαѕѕ him.
At the same time, some fans called for everyone to remain calm and avoid targeting or directly attacking Imogen, who is, after all, only 10 years old. Some even brought tripods to film or livestream, while repeatedly making phone calls, ringing the doorbell, and making noise for extended periods.
With an artist who has repeatedly become the target of privacy invasions at his own home, the Imogen incident has added fuel to the fire, prompting an even stronger wave of anger from fans. Fans are now actively discussing the situation on social media:
