At the end of this month, BTS arrived in Chicago for their “ARIRANG” world tour. A few days before the concert, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker officially declared the dates of the group’s concert at Sol∂ιєr Field as “BTS Day in Illinois.” In the official proclamation, he highlighted BTS’s positive contributions to social causes, including raising awareness of mental health, promoting self-love, and supporting charitable activities around the world, inspiring millions of people to take part in philanthropy and community service.

On this occasion, ARMY’s signature purple also took over Downtown Chicago. Willis Tower — one of the city’s most iconic landmarks — was lit up to welcome the group. At Buckingham Fountain, fan events were held for two hours, starting at 10 a.m. on the 27th and 11 a.m. on the 28th. In addition, a series of cupsleeve events and fan parties continued to take place throughout ¢нιиαtown and downtown, creating a lively atmosphere.

Meanwhile, BTS did not disappoint their local fans, delivering an energetic performance at Sol∂ιєr Field. Notably, during their Chicago shows, the group also introduced a series of new stage outfits, sparking widespread discussion on social media. Among them, Jimin and V’s outfits particularly caught attention for being both coordinated and strikingly contrasting.

Specifically, while performing songs during the first part of the concert, Jimin and V were seen wearing outfits with matching sheer tops and jackets, creating an almost mirrored look.
