Oli London is one of the most unwelcome people in the ARMY community. The past scandals caused Oli London to face many criticisms.

Oli recently apologized for past behavior such as racism, obsession with Jimin, and cultural appropriation. Even so, he still does not receive the sympathy of ARMYs and netizens because his words still show an obsession in perception.

Oli London is one of the familiar names for ARMY and even many netizens. He is famous for trying to spend more than 100,000 USD on plastic surgery to look like Jimin and constantly doing plastic surgery that makes his face deformed.

His obsession with Jimin is said to be morbid and negative. Not only that, but Oli London has been repeatedly criticized for trying to turn into a Korean while not understanding the country's culture.

For what happened in the past, Oli London recently apologized to Jimin, BTS and the Asian community by posting a new video on YouTube and a lengthy letter on August 29. Oli supposedly comes from realizing his mistake.

In both posts, Oli London acknowledges past accusations of racism and cultural appropriation as well as his past obsessive behavior when it comes to the BTS member. He explained that he was also bullied because of his looks as a child and that's why he started to admire Jimin.

According to the letter, Oli London said it was undergoing psychotherapy and in the process of self-reflection. Not only that, what's troubling is that he claims to be reducing his obsession with Jimin but he says he's married to a man who looks like Jimin. This proves that he still has not realized his bad mentality. 

He wrote that: "For the last few months, I have been undergoing therapy and rehabilitation to try to deal with my unhealthy behavior and addiction to Jimin and plastic surgery," they explained. "Since I recently got married to my husband, who is my very own Jimin (and actually looks like him), I have finally found someone who loves and accepts me for who I am. I have been chasing this acceptance all my life and now that I have found it, it has made me a completely new person."

- On the surface, it looks like he has shifted from one obsession to another. Instead of being obsessed with an idol, he now has a husband who looks like this idol. But in fact, he is still in the circle of the same obsession since his husband looks like an idol.
