BTS arrived at Incheon International Airport on the morning of July 21 after successfully wrapping up the European leg of their 'ARIRANG' World Tour and delivering the halftime performance at the FIFA World Cup 2026 Final. Five members—RM, Jin, SUGA, Jimin, and V—were confirmed to have returned to South кσяєα, while j-hope and Jungkook were notably absent. According to local media, the two members will return "separately" and "at a later time" due to individual schedules.
Despite appearing in casual outfits and wearing little to no makeup, the members still turned heads with their striking visuals. Although signs of fatigue were evident after days of nonstop performances and intercontinental travel, all five greeted reporters and fans with bright smiles, enthusiastically waving to those who had gathered at the airport since the early morning to welcome them home. According to their schedule, BTS will have around ten days of rest before returning to MetLife Stadium to resume their world tour.
Following the members' airport appearance, a video focusing on Jimin and SUGA quickly went viral on X, drawing widespread attention from ARMY. The clip captured the two members as they prepared to leave the airport, unintentionally providing another intriguing "piece of evidence" of their close friendship in real life!
In the video, SUGA was the first to board a van. The rapper quietly took his seat inside the vehicle and patiently waited for his companion. A few moments later, Jimin arrived, boarded the same van, and sat directly beside SUGA. Before getting into the vehicle, the singer continued smiling, repeatedly waving, clapping, and giving a thumbs-up to the fans and reporters who had been waiting since early morning to welcome the members home. Shortly afterward, the van carrying the two idols left the airport under tight security escort.
What excited fans the most was the fact that the two members left together in the same vehicle, suggesting that Jimin and SUGA were heading to the same destination. In other words, the moment further reinforced what fans had already known—that the two BTS members are neighbors who literally live next door to each other.
Earlier this March, during a conversation with EPIK HIGH to promote the album ARIRANG, SUGA α¢¢ι∂єитally revealed that he and Jimin live next door to one another while discussing their close friendship. Tablo jokingly asked, “Did you make him live next door?” prompting SUGA to laugh and repeatedly deny it, saying, “No, no! I, I…!”. Tablo then continued teasing him by suggesting that perhaps SUGA had bought his home first and convinced Jimin to move nearby. To everyone's surprise, SUGA clarified, “I moved in later.”
Longtime fans may also remember that in May 2023, кσяєαn media reported that SUGA had moved into the luxury apartment complex Nine One Hannam after previously living at Parc Hannam. Before that, he had purchased a luxury villa in UN Village for approximately 3.4 billion KRW in 2018. As it turns out, SUGA's new apartment is located right next to Jimin's residence.
Even more interestingly, Jimin isn't SUGA's only neighbor. The BTS rapper also lives close to RM and Jin. RM and Jimin are known to have purchased apartments at Nine One Hannam back in 2021, and fans have even spotted the pair cycling together around the neighborhood. Meanwhile, Jin once revealed that his home is only about a five-minute walk from SUGA's. This suggests that several BTS members have intentionally chosen to live in the same area, likely because they share similar preferences for the location, arcнιтecture, and environment—and, perhaps most importantly, because it allows them to see each other whenever they want.
