On this day, ARMYs are counting down, preparing for the day to welcome the remaining members of BTS back after being discharged from the military. There are only about 80 days left until RM, V, Jimin, Jungkook, and SUGA complete their military service.
The fandom atmosphere is more exciting than ever as fans have many things to do before the members are discharged, including doing celebratory projects or more specifically, visiting the local area where they are stationed.
Some RM fans recently made a trip to Hwacheon as a way to express their excitement. RM enlisted as a member of the ROK Army Band, 15th Infantry Division - Hwacheon County, Gangwon Province (near the border with North кσяєα), 4 hours away from Seoul.
After the trip, this fan shared her experience, including her conversation with the locals who had met the BTS superstar. OP visited many places that RM had been to with his army friends such as local cafes, military stores, 4cut photo studio, etc.
Locals who had interacted with RM also had many compliments for him.
In particular, when she visited the military store, she heard the store owner say that he had bought a beret not long ago. The store owner said that RM was a friendly, kind and really handsome person.
In the store, photos of the owner and RM were also hung everywhere. Not only did the store owner tell the story of meeting RM, he also gave away keychains with his real name to fans. This shows how good an impression he had on the store owner.

"Is it spring outside. It snowed 17cm in Hwacheon. Some places in Jeollabuk-do are over 20 degrees Celsius. It's a country with four distinct seasons. Great кσяєα" - RM opened the share, then humorously described his fellow sol∂ιєr setting up a snow hut outside their barracks, and added: "I think we'll have a lot of memories here".

Reflecting further on the role of music and connection, RM wrote: “As someone who creates music, what am I making, and what are people hearing? What are we all looking at, and what are we choosing to love? What kind of determination did I have when I stood in front of you all?”
RM has only three months left until his service ends, and he reflected: "Three months left—18% to go. I mean, I doubt I’ll ∂ιє before then. I’ll make sure to return healthy. Time feels heavier here, like a gravity. It’s going slow as hell, but even if you hang a military clock upside down, it still ticks. So I’ll try flipping it upside down, spinning it 540 degrees—whatever works. I’ll take this time to realign my heart & thoughts before I return."
