In late June last year, HYBE debuted the multinational girl group KATSEYE, which was selected after the final round of the global audition program The Debut: Dream Academy held in Hollywood, USA.
The six members of KATSEYE come from four countries, with Sophia from the Philippines, Yoonchae from кσяєα, Manon from ѕωιтzєяℓαи∂, and three αмєяι¢αn members Lara, Megan, and Daniela.
The group quickly made an impression on global au∂ιєnces with нιтs like "Touch" and "Debut" and their captivating performances. With over a million monthly listeners on Spotify, the group has demonstrated a strong rise in the international music industry.
On the other hand, the group has also recently received a lot of attention from ARMYs since they attended j-hope's North αмєяι¢αn concert as his juniors in HYBE. Notably, during the group's recent live broadcast on Weverse Live, they υиєχρє¢тє∂ly shared that the group has a private group chat with j-hope.
Initially, the female idols gave a lot of compliments when mentioning the BTS superstar. They concluded with a sentence that couldn't be better: “He’s everything that you would expect and more in the best way”.
Then, they mentioned that the group has a private group chat with j-hope and they gave him many suggestions when he set foot in the Philippines. It included local specialties such as Halo-Halo (a popular cold dessert made up of crushed ice, evaporated milk or coconut milk).
Although the group first came to the Philippines in September 2024 to debut at Market! Market!, there is a member in the group with nationality here, so it wasn't difficult to be a "tour guide" for j-hope - who returned after 8 years.

Previously, KATSEYE attended the K-pop superstar's last "Hope on the Stage" concert in Los Angeles and even had the chance to meet him in person. On social media, the girls surprised fans with a behind-the-scenes photo.
To celebrate his successful two-day concert, they even gave him a beautiful bouquet of flowers and expressed their admiration as labelmates.
