As CNN reported, Jin has been doing his mandatory military service since December 13, opening a new chapter for BTS. The remaining members of BTS will soon enlist in the army one by one, with the hope that they will reunite in 2025.

Most recently, revolving around stories related to enlistment, RM is the next name that is expected to enlist as an active-duty soldier after Jin. Based on the predictions below, Korean media think that it won't be long before ARMYs have to say goodbye to the leader.

Here's what the Korean media are saying about RM's enlistment:

At around 2 pm on December 13, the oldest member Jin entered the recruit training center of the Korean army located in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province. He started a 5-week basic training course. Jin's BTS members all came along to see him off because he was the first to enlist in the group.

Over the past few months, there has been much discussion about whether the group should be exempted from special military service due to the great contributions they have made to the country. However, the members themselves have said that they will serve the country when the time comes and Jin's enlistment has ended all previous controversies.

The other members are expected to follow in Jin's footsteps and enlist one by one. Recently, there has been speculation that RM might be next to enlist because of a statement he made on SUGA's talk show 'SuChwiTa'.

During the show, RM talked about his future plans and explained, "In 2025, I will complete my military service and will start to grow my hair again." Through this statement, many people are expecting RM to be the next to enlist after Jin. The time will probably be mid-2023 or early 2024 to be discharged in 2025.

Not only that, a number of other signs that RM will be the next member to enlist in the army are not ambiguous. That's when the military official decided that due to a shoulder injury a few years ago, SUGA would most likely perform his military service as a community service worker like Super Junior's Heechul or Big Bang TOP. 

In addition, recently, the Influencer Marketing Director of Nike Lee Tae Joon also RM's close friend sent him a letter thanking him for his dedication in the past year. At the same time, the close friend as well as the director accidentally revealed that RM will soon enlist in the army with the message in the letter.

Specifically, in the letter that RM posted on Instagram, Lee Tae Joon mentioned that this year is the year that RM has shined and the 15 years in his career have also gone through many meaningful stages. He praised RM for being a great leader and working so hard for BTS and the company but as RM prepares to enlist in the army, he hopes that RM can spend more time on his own.

At the end of the letter, he also said that he will support RM in 2023 and always wait for RM to return after enlistment. This further strengthens the belief that the next member after Jin to enlist is the leader.

Besides, RM also shared that he started producing a new album after just releasing Indigo. This album is said to be dedicated to ARMYs before he enlists or will help fill the gap when members including RM enlist.

Although enlistment is the decision of the members and ARMY always respect that. But it will be really hard for ARMYs to accept being away from the members for a long time. It's only been 1 day, but ARMYs' feeling of missing Jin seems to be even deeper.
