Jungkook's Solo Tour Mention Crossed Out By Attendee At GOLDEN Exhibition In NYC, Causing Outrage

Organized by Big Hit Music, Paradise E&A, and MondayMorning CreativeLab, GOLDEN: The Moments captures the golden momentsduring Jungkook's iconic career, allowing fans to explore the pivotal moments that shaped his musical world in Golden.

The exhibition opened to the public on April 11 at 30 Wall Street, NYC and will run until May 11. The event showcases the creative process, fashion, performances, and behind-the-scenes content related to his debut solo album.

Thousands of fans have visited the exhibition and marveled at the BTS superstar's solo achievements. In particular, a notable part of attending the exhibition is that fans can leave notes and wishes for their idol on the wall.

These messages will be sent to Jungkook through Big Hit Music after the event ends.

While most fans were celebrating the event, on April 20, photos from the exhibition were shared on SNS, causing outrage. Some people crossed out the word "solo" from "solo world tour" in the messages left by previous fans.

Not only that, those who did this claimed that it was the right decision because they accused fans who encouraged Jungkook's solo concert of being solo stans. On the other hand, they emphasized that there will be no Jungkook solo concert after BTS's comeback.

Seeing these photos, many were angry and called the action disrespectful, especially considering the idol's previous statements. Before his enlistment, Jungkook had mentioned his desire to go on a solo tour to interact with ARMYs.

In the current context, BTS members SUGA, j-hope, and recently Jin have had or announced solo tours to celebrate the release of their solo albums. Therefore, fans' expectations for the remaining members, including Jungkook, to conduct their own tours are completely reasonable.

In addition, this exhibition is a private space to honor Jungkook's solo journey, so it is unreasonable to cross out "solo tour" on the wall with the accusation of "solo stan". ARMYs also pointed out that the messages on this wall will be sent to Jungkook and how he would feel if he saw the cross-out lines.

Fans feel that this action of some toxic individuals is like trampling on the hopes of the male singer himself and other genuine fans:

- This is unacceptable. I don’t care how you dislike or beef w/ solos but this is crossing the line and disrespectful to Jungkook! These messages are FOR HIM but you think just bc you self-id as ARMY you have a right to vandalize his message wall containing the fans’ messages…

- i just don’t understand how you don’t feel stupid doing this knowing a member is currently on a tour and another member just announced his…?

- these people are so fcking miserable, so insecure about him having a solo career..seeing all this i can't wait for the tour to actually happen lol

- Honestly talking... what exactly was wrong with 'Jk solo world tour'?and on top of that, crossing it out while wearing Hobi's solo tour merch, it hurts my heart thinking Jk might end up seeing this and think that we don't support this part of him, he deserves better

- Disgusting. A true army would never do this btw . This is so concerning

- Why some people can be so disrespectful and obsessive?? This is sick!

- Crossing out the word ‘solo’ from JK’s tour WHILE wearing merch from Hobi’s solo tour is hypocrisy at it’s finest

- I just want to know what kind of mentality is this sht, I’m all for ot7 world tour but if Jungkook permits and wants a solo world tour then I’ll genuinely support it. I don’t knows what kind of intention that you have to this but I certainly know it’s fcking stupid

- Such blatant disrespect for Jungkook. He himself said he wanted a solo tour. The only question is when. Why would you think fans are don’t have the right to wish for a JK solo tour? He had the most successful run so far! Crossing out the messages of other fans, trash behavior!

Despite being on hiatus from music activities, his first solo album continues to attract attention. Seven from the album continued to surpαѕѕ the 2.3 billion stream mark on Spotify, breaking the Billboard record for an Asian solo artist by staying on the Global 200 chart for 89 weeks,...pave the way for the welcome of millions of fans over the world for his solo world tour.
