On the 17th (local time), Jungkook left both the live au∂ιєnce and global fans in αωє with his breathtaking performance and incredible live vocals during the second night of BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG', held at Stanford Stadium (San Francisco, USA). Notably, BTS became the second artist after Coldplay to perform at Stanford Stadium, while also making history as the first artist ever to hold three consecutive concert nights at the venue.
Despite the demanding schedule and the immense physical energy required, BTS’s “Golden Maknae” continuously energized the atmosphere throughout the entire concert with his seemingly endless stamina and exceptional interaction with the crowd. With his consistent performance quality and astonishing stage presence, Jungkook once again proved why he is widely regarded as one of the standout performers in K-pop today.
The impact of the concert extended far beyond the stadium, exploding across social media platforms worldwide. Phrases such as “VOCAL GENIUS JUNGKOOK,” “STAGE GENIUS JUNGKOOK,” and “STAGE KING JUNGKOOK” continuously trended in real time on X (Twitter) in the United States and many other countries. Meanwhile, Jungkook’s playful moment of giving RM “CPR” during the opening of “Body To Body” quickly became a viral meme online. He also took on several trending TikTok challenges, further showing his genuine Gen Z sensibility and playful charm.
Notably, he also joined in the spontaneous dance segment during “Dynamite” on Day 2 of the concert by performing an extremely difficult aerial flip, similar to Jimin, while Jin successfully executed a cartwheel.
However, it was this very move that later appeared to cause hip pain for Jungkook during the second half of the show, leaving fans deeply concerned after he revealed it himself!
While speaking with the au∂ιєnce, the singer shared, “Today I think I gave it all during the concert and during the flip I was trying to do the flip and I think I kinda hurt my back.” Nevertheless, he immediately reαѕѕured fans with his usual positive attitude, saying, “That’s how much I had fun and wanted to do this so no worries you guys… once again today I had so much fun. Seems like Stanford ARMY really know how to have fun. I had so much fun today, everyone please get home safely and I love you guys!”
Beyond Jungkook’s own comments, several videos recorded near the end of the concert also showed the idol appearing to be in pain around his hip area and struggling slightly to stand up after sitting down on stage. The moment even caught RM’s attention, prompting him to turn and check on Jungkook. However, Jungkook simply shook his head and flashed a bright smile to signal that he was okay.
Even so, after Jungkook’s comments and the circulating videos, fans could not help but worry about his condition. Although it did not appear to be a serious injury, muscle and joint pain of this kind can last for several days and potentially affect both his rest and future performances. Fans have always admired Jungkook’s pαѕѕion and dedication on stage, but many are also hoping that he will take better care of himself and recover quickly, commenting:
