BTS successfully wrapped up their world tour concert “BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN TOKYO” at Tokyo Dome on the 17th and 18th. This marked their return to Tokyo Dome after 7 years and 5 months, since their “BTS WORLD TOUR LOVE YOURSELF ~JAPAN EDITION~” in November 2018. Both shows sold out early, with a total of 110,000 fans filling the venue over the two days.
נαραиese au∂ιєnces created a spectacular scene by waving their light sticks in perfect unison. During performances of “Not Today” and “MIC Drop,” thunderous cheers erupted, filling Tokyo Dome. A highlight of the night was “Body to Body,” a track from their new album “ARIRANG.” As the melody of the traditional кσяєαn folk song “Arirang” was woven into the performance, the entire crowd sang along together.
In the “Random Song” segment, BTS delivered impromptu performances of older releases, including “Crystal Snow” from their 8th נαραиese single released in 2017 and “FOR YOU” from their 4th נαραиese single released in 2015. Moving freely across the stage, the members made eye contact with fans and repeatedly shared, “It’s been so long since we’ve sung this song. It feels amazing.” They also expressed their hopes to return even stronger in the future.

The two Tokyo Dome concerts dominated global social media that day due to their mαѕѕive scale. However, several issues also drew attention—particularly the camera work and filming direction across both nights. Fans even noticed inconsistencies in coverage, to the point that on the second night, Jungkook personally stepped in to remind a cameraman from BigHit Music to focus on Jimin during his part.
A video that is currently going viral on social media shows Jungkook standing in front of the cameraman while singing his part in the нιт song “Butter.” However, even after he finished his line and stepped aside as Jimin continued, the cameraman did not move to capture Jimin. Jungkook himself appeared surprised by this. As a result, he stepped forward and pointed toward Jimin, signaling the staff to direct the camera to the member who was singing.
Despite Jungkook’s gesture, the cameraman was not seen adjusting accordingly afterward, which further fueled fans’ frustration with the concert’s filming quality. Many criticized the camerawork as “unprofessional.” Some also pointed out that each member should have an additional dedicated camera with a better system to ensure fair coverage—especially with more than 80 shows still remaining in the tour.
Under the viral clip of Jungkook’s reaction, numerous comments have been pouring in, such as:
- Director, who are you? If an artist is performing, it's your job to film. He doesn't have to come to you to film. Do your job. Each member needs one more camera and should have a system to send it out accordingly. This tour is still more than 80 away. @BIGHIT_MUSIC @bts_bigнιт
- You pay the cameramen, don't you? so i think this request is coming from you because the cameramen have been acting like Jimin is not there since the first day, just like you have been doing for years. @BIGHIT_MUSIC @HYBEOFFICIALtwt @нιтmanb
- Astronomically ridiculous, but at least when they gave out fancams, didn't it work? Just use 7 cameramen, right? Why aren't they filming it!!! Don't they even have the intention to film!!!
- @HYBEOFFICIALtwt @BIGHIT_MUSIC Isn't filming the members while they're singing just basic camera work? Even if there was a lack of understanding of the performance, the singers would have explained it, but this is clearly a dereliction of duty and the responsibility of a company that has been negligent in managing its staff. The staff, who are utterly unprofessional, must be decisively dealt with, if only for the sake of the remaining performances.
- what the h3ll are your cameras doing? How is it that they can't even focus on the one who's singing? The recording work is awful, and it hurts to think that this is what we'll see on the tour DVDs
- Why am I only seeing this now? Jungkook asked the cameraman more than once to film Jimin during his part, but the cameraman literally ignored it and insisted on not filming Jimin. Even Jungkook looked ѕнσ¢кed
- It hurts to watch Jimin notice the camera, realize right away that it has no intention of filming him, and turn back. Jungkook even looked so surprised when the cameraman did nothing with Jimin
