It can be said that, when it comes to being active on music charts, ARMY is currently one of the most active fandoms. It is through streaming songs as well as supporting it on domestic and foreign music charts that have helped BTS achieve great achievements.
Therefore, if it comes to music streaming, perhaps the scores of BTS songs cannot be low at least until now. But most recently, a news that surprised ARMYs when Jungkook and Dreamers were only in second place at 'Show! Music Core' due to receiving 0 points for YouTube.
This makes ARMYs extremely surprised and curious about the reason behind it:
It's been 3 weeks since Jungkook released the single "Dreamers". Naturally, this was a huge hit for him as he achieved a lot of big hits on the international charts. Jungkook's Dreamers charted for the second week at #1 on Billboard World Digital Song Sales, #6 on Billboard Global Excl. US, #13 on Billboard Global 200 and #11 on Billboard Digital Song Sales.
The song became the first solo song by a Korean artist/KPOP idol to spend weeks in the Top 10 of the 'Billboard Global 200 Excl. US'. Jungkook is also the only KPOP solo artist with multiple songs to spend weeks in the Top 10 of Billboard Global 200 Excl. US and Top 15 of Billboard Global 200.
Meanwhile, with the domestic charts, Jungkook is also the first BTS member to enter the Top 5 of the Melon Top 100 Chart and the Top 10 of the Melon Daily Chart with the following solo song “Dreamers”. when reorganizing the rankings. It is also the song that continuously ranked in the top 10 on the Real Time chart and the most daily chart of the day on the digital music charts of Korea.
However, on December 17, ARMYs were surprised by the score results announced by "Show!Music Core" when Jungkook's Dreamers only ranked 2nd. It was even lower than the song. 1st place nearly 400 points.
This is attributed to Jungkook's "Show! Music Core" YouTube criterion being 0 points. When seeing him receive 0 points for this part, ARMYs were extremely upset and sent a complaint to Music Core to clarify the matter.
'Programme! Music Core' then provided feedback on taking statistics from Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart). According to Circle Chart, HYBE has yet to submit the "Dreamers" music video for review, so it has been dropped from the YouTube criteria. Therefore Dreamers get 0 points.
After receiving the information, ARMYs were surprised because HYBE's negligence led to Dreamers' achievements not being recognized. While it was a song that was loved and popular during the World Cup with the efforts of ARMYs, HYBE seems to have ignored it and resulted in Jungkook and Dreamers' ranking didn't deserve what it should be.
Fans claim that HYBE has neglected the "Dreamers" MV many times, including the current case. For instance, HYBE initially didn't classify 3 of the 4 official "Dreamers" videos as 'music', resulting in lost Billboard streaming numbers.
However, despite the fans' constant complaints, HYBE has yet to respond.
