Jungkook Shows A New Change In His Arm Tattoo During The Latest Instagram Live

While numerous кσяєαn idols sport tattoos, Jungkook stands out as the most prominent figure representing this cultural shift. Not only because of the number of tattoos he has, but also thanks to his wide and positive influence, the кσяєαn public has become seemingly more open-minded about tattoo art — which used to be a taboo in traditional society.

He has opened the door for a new generation of idols to live truthfully as themselves, without fearing the loss of a model image. In particular, Jungkook’s right arm is almost “legendary,” holding meanings related to his life, career, and the things he values most. It has become a focal point that constantly draws fans’ attention.

Since his first appearance in 2019 with a few simple lines including the word “ARMY,” the number “0613” (BTS's debut date), the BTS logo, and some other symbols like a tiger flower or traditional patterns, the arm has now been fully covered in a multi-layered design, combining icons, text, and metaphorical imagery. This part of his body has turned into a vibrant personal art statement.

Although fans had already witnessed the completion of this living canvas before Jungkook enlisted, it seems like that wasn’t yet the final version he was satisfied with. Recently, fans spotted a few changes in his tattoo details when he unintentionally revealed his arm during a live broadcast on Instagram with V.

In one moment of the short broadcast, Jungkook appeared relaxed and natural, chatting happily with V as the two were in a moving car. However, ARMY’s sharp eyes quickly caught sight of the bull tattoo on the underside of his upper arm — which had previously only been outlined in black ink — now filled in with red.

Though just a small change, this detail instantly caused a stir online. Many fans were thrilled, as it seems Jungkook is starting to color in the black-and-wнιтe tattoos on his arm, making them more “rebellious” and eye-catching.

Meanwhile, this tattoo is connected to Jungkook’s birth year, 1997, which corresponds to the Year of the Ox in Eastern culture.

On the other hand, some fans also recalled a previous statement from Jungkook’s personal tattoo artist, POLYC, about how they had been working together to fix the tattoos for a while now, due to serious damage on the older ink, and because the idol wanted to wear short-sleeved shirts in the summer.

That might also be one reason why the youngest BTS member’s tattoos have undergone such a major transformation — including the extension of his right arm tattoos all the way down to his chest.

Right after the broadcast, social media was flooded with fan comments:

- Jungkook quietly ‘upgraded’ his tattoos, but ARMY notices everything

- The red ink makes the bull look even cooler. Jungkook never lets fans down

- I wasn’t even breathing for a full minute when I saw that red ink—Jeon Jungkook, you are art!

- How does he casually drop вσмвshells like that on live? The red tattoo update is EVERYTHING!

- It’s insane how one tiny detail in his tattoo can cause a whole fandom meltdown—and I love it.

- Every time I think his sleeve is complete, he surprises us again. Never a dull moment with JK!

- Jungkook’s tattoos are truly a living canvas. Watching them evolve is like witnessing history in the making.

- My God, how delicious — that fully tattooed arm, I want to lick it like a popsicle. Each day he’s more handsome and more my type

- First is his new chest tattoo, then the bull tattoo got red ink. What other tattoo changes will be revealed

- We need one of two things either Calvin Klein get themselves into gear & give us a new campaign preferably shirtless or Taehyung drops a live from the gym cause for research purposes we need to closely examine these new tattoos, so get on it people

- There won’t be a single soul left alive to tell the tale when he finally decides to show off all those tattoos, holy sh*t — JEON JUNGKOOK!!!
