Over the past 10 years, Jungkook has been an integral part of BTS and is one of the members that make BTS successful. Meanwhile, for Jungkook, BTS is his family, friends, and best colleagues.
 
Even so, in the pre-debut days, Jungkook ever had different thoughts about his career when coming to BTS. Before making the decision to debut with BTS, Jungkook was also moved by different pαѕѕions. At one point, he even considered giving up on being a member of BTS and the members had to comfort him.

Here is a cute little story that you probably didn't notice or forgot about Jungkook in the days before his debut:

We all know that, when BTS officially debuted in 2013, Jungkook was only 16 years old. He is very young but already has outstanding talents and is praised by RM himself as the Golden Maknae.

And over the past 10 years, Jungkook has constantly proven his maturity and demonstrated his talent, worthy of the title RM has given him. Currently, Jungkook is one of the most famous K-pop stars, and an important part of BTS' 7-member lineup.

However, there was a time when Jungkook was skeptical about debuting with BTS because he suddenly realized a new pαѕѕion of his. It was around the time after he returned from studying abroad in the US and before debuting with BTS.

As many people know, Jungkook used to go to school in the US for about a month, in 2012, a year before BTS debuted. At this time, Jungkook was brought to the US by Bang PD and Mr. Son - BTS's choreography teacher to study hip hop and αmєrícαn music culture. This trip is expected to provide the foundation for BTS's music as well as promote Jungkook's talent to the fullest.

In fact, after returning from αmєrícα, Jungkook really showed his abilities and became more confident. Along with that is a successful debut with other members of BTS.

But in a blog post by Jungkook a few months before the group's debut, he talked about his journey to dance school in the US and some of the stories behind it. In particular, there was a remarkable part when Jungkook said that he had intended to become a professional dancer, instead of being a BTS member.

Specifically, Jungkook's diary includes a description of the school weeks and activities he has spent here. Jungkook started: "Hello, this is Jeon Jungkookie. Hehe. This is the first time I am revealed on the blog, so I’m nervous. I came here because I wanted to show you the photos I took last year during July and August when I went to the US to study dance.

Now that I look at these photos I realize how young I was. These days I’m more handsome than what you see on the photos below. Hehe.

To become the dancer Jeon Jungkookie, I went to study dance in Los Angeles for about a month. This is a photo I took after getting off the plane. I look tired.

It was the first time in my life getting on a plane. I think the plane ride took 12-13 hours.

On the way to the dorms, the view was too pretty, so we stopped the car to take a photo. Ahhhh~~~

On the first day, I remember receiving about 2-3 dance lessons, but compared to what I had imagined, the dance lessons weren’t that difficult. But from the second lesson on, I started to have a mental breakdown. And I couldn’t understand what they were saying. Compared to the first lesson it was harshness on a completely different level!!

As soon as I woke up in the morning, I went to a kσrєαn restaurant close to the dorm, ate breakfast and left. I think it’s because I could eat kσrєαn food at that place that I didn’t get homesick." 

He also went on to recall the memories here: "I received a lot of lessons so I often needed to change clothes, so I had to go to the laundromat 1-2 times a week. Actually, it was a bit annoying...

We went to some art gallery to see an exhibition and there were no people on the stairs so I did a cool Nike pose and took a photo! Hahahahhahah I think it looks really cool!!

This is the choreography I learned when I first started learning choreographed dancing. I got a lot wrong in the later parts so I’m a bit embarrαѕѕed. Heheheh. Looking at this and then the practice video uploaded a few days ago I think I improved a lot hehe.

Since I happened to arrive very early before the lesson there wasn’t anyone there.

I bought the skateboard in the states and started skateboarding for the first time!! Of course to end my article: Nike 2!!!!!!!!"

In it, notably, in the last part, Jungkook revealed that when he went to αmєrícα and was exposed to many dance lessons as well as witnessed αmєrícαn dancers perform, he had a dream of becoming a professional dancer. This pαѕѕion led him to consider debuting with BTS. But the cute thing here is, to convince Jungkook, the members bought him ice cream and just one ice cream could make Jungkook give up on this idea.

He wrote in his diary: "TMI: I went to αmєrícα and suddenly I didn’t want to debut in BTS and I wanted to be a dancer. I just want to dance. So the members bought ice cream to convince me."

In fact, even when Jungkook debuted with BTS, he continued to pursue his pαѕѕion for dancing as a performer. He also makes the world and industry people admire and love him because of his dancing ability.

Besides, even though Jungkook said that the BTS members convinced him to buy ice cream, in reality, even if he had the desire to become a professional dancer for a moment, he still chose in the end. BTS. As RM once said that although sometimes BTS members can look in different directions, but finally, they "choose to stay together".

Jungkook always chooses BTS and is always an integral part of BTS 7!
