On April 11, BTS continued with the second night of their World Tour “Arirang” at the “holy ground” of Goyang. The rain had stopped, and the favorable weather allowed the members to fully unleash their power and pαѕѕion. They “tore up” the stage for 180 minutes with all the tracks from their new album Arirang, along with a lineup of mega нιтs that “even the neighbor’s dog knows”—the very songs that have shaped BTS into who they are today.
Similar to Day 1, in addition to the 40,000 fans filling the stands, many idols and celebrities also attended on Day 2 to show their support. Notable names included Ko So-young – Jang Dong-gun, ENHYPEN, BOYNEXTDOOR, BABYMONSTER with Ahyeon and Chiquita, actress Ha Ji-won, and chef Lee Yeon-bok, among others.
On this day, the members’ families were also present in full force, including the parents of RM, the older brother and sister-in-law of Jin, the mother of Jimin, the mother of V, and the parents of SUGA. In fact, SUGA’s father delighted fans by bringing an ARMY Bomb bag and excitedly showing it off to other parents as soon as he arrived at the venue.
However, the one who truly “stole the spotlight” among the parents was none other than Jungkook’s mother. Seated in the VIP section, she quickly drew attention with her striking bleached-wнιтe hair—a style she has maintained for years—along with her youthful and dynamic fashion sense.
What truly sent her viral across social media after the concert, however, was not her appearance but her thoughtful and heartwarming actions toward fans. In a video that garnered over 300,000 interactions, she was seen carrying a large number of wet wipes and personally handing them out to fans seated around her area. Not only that, she smiled warmly and chatted with ARMYs in a friendly, approachable manner, creating an incredibly warm atmosphere.
In other videos and photos, Jungkook’s mother was also seen cheerfully interacting with the parents of other members before the show. She even took photos for them using her phone and carefully gestured to adjust their positions to capture the best possible shots. Another widely shared photo showed her standing next to Jimin’s mother, posing together with another woman, highlighting the close bond between the families.
As these moments quickly spread across social media, many people commented that her thoughtfulness and warmth reflect the loving family environment that helped shape Jungkook into the person he is today. Some fans also pointed out that this was not the first time she had shown such kindness toward ARMYs in real life. At BTS’s performance in Gwanghwamun last month, she had also prepared various kinds of candy and shared them with fans sitting nearby.
