Jungkook Reveals His Once-Impossible Dream Came True at the New Jersey Concert

On August 1 and 2 (local time), BTS held the second stop of their 'Arirang' World Tour at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA. The concerts took place just two weeks after the group returned to the same venue as co-headliners of the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Halftime Show on July 19. Both nights sold out completely, attracting a total of 157,000 attendees.

The stadium, which had echoed with the cheers of football fans from around the world just two weeks earlier, was once again illuminated over two nights by a sea of ARMY Bombs and spectacular fireworks. Touched by the overwhelming support from local fans, the BTS members were visibly emotional. Jimin shared: "Seeing all of you smiling so beautifully, singing, and dancing…made even those difficult moments feel so beautiful." Meanwhile, RM promised: "I wanna come back like really soon. I AM GONNA MISS YOU! Peace!"

However, the most memorable confession of the night arguably came from Jungkook. The singer υиєχρє¢тє∂ly revealed that the concert at MetLife had turned a recent dream of his—one that had seemed impossible—into reality.

Toward the end of the second show, Jungkook first thanked the au∂ιєnce, saying, "Did you have fun? Today thanks to you I had a lot of fun." He then began sharing a heartwarming story: "Recently I had a dream..." before letting out a small giggle and continuing, "The dream was me performing in front of you and I was flying!! And while I was performing today I felt like I was flying so thank you to you all. New York, I had so much fun I think it was a great start and I hope to see you again very soon!!"

Jungkook's heartfelt confession immediately sparked an explosive response, with tens of thousands of fans erupting into nonstop cheers. It was clearly one of the highest compliments he could give to the incredible energy and support that around 80,000 fans had shown him and BTS each night. For Jungkook, every moment at MetLife with ARMY felt so joyful and exhilarating that he truly felt as if he were flying.

At the same time, his comment instantly reminded fans of one of the most iconic moments of Jungkook's performing career. During the Speak Yourself Tour in 2019, his performance of "Euphoria" left tens of thousands of concertgoers in αωє as he was lifted into the air by a cable system, "flying" across the stadium while delivering his angelic vocals. He famously "flew" above the crowd at MetLife Stadium seven years ago, as well as at other legendary venues including Rose Bowl, Wembley Stadium, and Los Angeles.

As a result, hearing Jungkook once again talk about the feeling of "flying" during the concert led many fans to believe that the memories of those iconic "Euphoria" performances still hold a special place in his heart. Many ARMYs also expressed their hope that, in the near future, Jungkook will bring back the legendary "Euphoria" stage and soar above the au∂ιєnce once again.

Jungkook's remarks have also sparked lively discussions across social media, including: "bby, euphoria wasn’t that long ago", ""recently I had a dream" Jungkook please be reasonable", "Jungkook has a talent for comedy", "jungkook getting interrupted while trying to share his dream is so funny and cute", "Jungkook is so sweet", "He craves LY euphoria pt 2", "I saw Jungkook fly in 2019. The man can fly!", "Performing on stage... I wonder how happy that would feel ", "literally euphoria jungkook", "I wanna see him perform euphoria again", "EUPHORIA JUNGKOOK WAS SO MAJESTIC BRING THAT BACK!!! ",...
