On the 31st of this month, кσяєαn media widely reported that a кσяєαn woman in her 40s trespαѕѕed into the parking lot of Jungkook’s private residence in Yongsan District. She was arrested on the spot by the ρσℓι¢є at around 12:02 a.m. that day.
After investigating the reason for A’s intrusion into the parking lot, the ρσℓι¢є released her around noon the same day. During questioning, A reportedly admitted to the crime. The ρσℓι¢є are currently reviewing CCTV footage near Jungkook’s home before deciding whether to forward the case to the prosecution.
What is particularly noteworthy is that this incident occurred just one day before Jungkook’s 28th birthday, inevitably affecting his mental state. During his live broadcast right after midnight on September 1, Jungkook appeared visibly exhausted and worn out after a day of dealing with such a serious situation at his home.
He also frankly revealed more details about the incident that had dominated headlines earlier that morning, including: "I was watching the CCTV and the ρσℓι¢є was coming from upstairs, I was putting on my shoes and heard a sound, then I opened the door and the ρσℓι¢є stormed in. They apparently said they were my friend. I mean ARMYs are my friends and family but that's bad".
He further added: "I'm so thankful for your support, bit what тнє нєℓℓ was that, coming and all. If you come today again, I will just trap you in there, and you'll just be taken away. The CCTV and all are recorded, so if you wanna get taken away (by the ρσℓι¢є) you may come".
Moreover, he also said: "If you α¢¢ι∂єитally even step into my house garage/parking, you can't leave. Unless I open it myself, you will be trapped in here. CCTV cameras here are constantly monitored, so.. unless you want to go to the ρσℓι¢є station, please don't come here".
Jungkook’s words quickly sent chills down fans’ spines, calling out the “perverse” and “distorted behavior” of a portion of overly obsessive fans. His mention of monitoring the CCTV, hearing noises, opening the door, and seeing the ρσℓι¢є storm in made fans feel just how severe and frightening the situation was.
Fans particularly took note of Jungkook’s warning that he would “trap” the intruder if they ever returned, showing how serious he was about protecting his personal space. Rather than ignoring the matter, Jungkook directly condemned the act as unacceptable and reminded that all CCTV footage has been recorded and can be used as legal evidence.
The broadcast immediately sparked heated discussions across social media, with many ARMYs expressing anger and disappointment over the intruder’s actions. Some praised Jungkook for how he handled the situation when the break-in happened, as well as for his calm yet firm stance in warning fans. Others called on BigHit Music to strengthen security measures to prevent such incidents from happening again.
Many fans also stressed that the best way to support Jungkook is to respect his personal boundaries:
- Armys will never invade your privacy, Jungkook! Those are stalkers "friends" card to escape
- They are not ARMY. Because ARMYs would never invade his house like that. NEVER. We respect and love them so much to do these kinds of нσяяιвℓє things
- STOP taking advantage of his kindness peopleee plss
- It reached a point where JK who is always so calm had to say such things. Meaning it has gone so beyond what he can take in. My boy. He does not deserve this.
- I'm so so so sad he respects us so much but what do some of these delulu btches do?invade his privacy
- a stalker is not a fan that's a whole psychopath he is being too nice with his words
- i hate to be the one to say this, but armys are NOT their friends/family. ofc they love us but we are fans at the end of the day and there are boundaries that we need to respect
- No family or friend would do this to them btw. I will personally learn how to tattoo so i can drill the word “boundaries” inside these people’s eyelids. And if you follow m those invasive Youtube accounts I’ll add the word hypocrite on the other lid.
- I’m proud of Jungkook for speaking up about this. He stayed calm but made it clear that this behavior is NOT okay. His safety comes first
- The way Jungkook handled this shows how mature and responsible he is. He didn’t ignore it, he addressed it directly and set boundaries. King behavior
- Jungkook was so smart to set up CCTV and actually monitor it himself. He’s really taking his safety seriously, and that’s admirable
- Honestly, I’m impressed by how Jungkook turned his house into a safe space with all those precautions. He’s showing other idols how to protect themselves
- So proud of him. This is unbelievably brave. Big Hit, pls act to protect your artist too
- Respect his privacy, YES he loves us but let’s respect his SPACE! Imagine even visiting someone’s house when you’re not invited, wouldn’t you feel ashamed at all?
