The friendship between V and Jungkook is one of the most popular celebrity friendships in Kpop. Both have opposite personalities, while V is an extrovert, likes to stir up the atmosphere, Jungkook is an introvert, likes to recharge his own energy.

Taehyung explains that it's not a cute action, but a nasty ∂ιѕєαѕє he has and ARMYs don't know about: cholinergic urticaria. This is a health condition that causes itching and hives due to sweating or increased body temperature. Even exercise causes these discomforts, and even in more severe cases, it can be life-threatening.

It is considered an allergy and can be treated with medication. However, this ∂ιѕєαѕє for V is very difficult to control because V has to be physically active constantly causing him to sweat and raise his body temperature. That's why we often see V scratching his body while on stage. But fortunately, there has been no case that makes V's chronic ∂ιѕєαѕє worse. He has taken some measures to cool down his body such as using sweat-wicking fabrics, wearing loose clothes or drinking lots of water. However, in many cases when he was performing on stage or recording, it was difficult for him to avoid it and Jungkook was the one who helped him at such times.

When V talked about his illness, fans recalled a time when BTS faced a game that included escaping from a sauna. As soon as V received this message, Jungkook decided to change the task to V to avoid his hives recurring because of the heat in the sauna.
