Jungkook is well-known for his spontaneous live broadcasts that happen one after another, and fans are naturally delighted to see him so frequently. On December 3, the Golden Maknae surprised ARMYs with an early December greeting through a livestream where he cooked pasta for a late lunch — which has also become a familiar routine whenever he has no official schedule.

He was seen in the familiar kitchen of his luxurious Itaewon villa, wearing a Balenciaga hoo∂ιє and sporting a face that looked freshly woken up. As expected, he still looked as handsome as ever, flashing his bright smile.

ARMYs also noticed that pasta seems to be one of his favorite dishes, since almost every time he does a cooking livestream, he ends up making some kind of pasta dish. Most recently, on November 24, he showed off his sкιℓℓs by cooking Uni Soy Sauce Cream Shrimp Pasta. Before that, his basic кσяєαn ramyeon, Truffle Cream Pasta, and Perilla Oil Buckwheat Noodles recipes from past cooking livestreams were also widely popular across social media.

Aside from the food being the main topic of today’s broadcast, fans also paid attention to a few noises heard while the BTS superstar was cooking pasta. At first, they αѕѕumed Bam was beside him playing with soмєтнing, causing the sounds. But since Jungkook didn’t say anything to stop the dog, fans began to suspect that it might be someone else — someone who had previously lived at his house, as mentioned in his earlier livestream.

Not letting fans stay curious for long, Jungkook soon explained that he had a friend visiting, someone very close to him from Busan. He said, “This friend who lives with me is a friend from Busan. We've known each other since elementary school. We're close to a point we ask each other to shut up every day, for no reason.”

They immediately “demonstrated” that closeness. The moment Jungkook finished speaking, his friend shot back, “What are you on aboutttt!” — and the idol didn’t miss the chance to respond, “Justttt shut itttttt.” Laughter instantly filled the kitchen.

ARMYs were delighted to see this new side of Jungkook when he’s with a close friend. They remembered how he had mentioned this same friend several times in previous livestreams, making them curious. Once, when Jungkook was doing karaoke for fans, this friend apparently asked him to sing “Love You With All My Heart” by Crush, but Jungkook playfully teased him, saying, “My friend asked me to sing ‘Love You With All My Heart.’ I don’t want to. Why should I do that?" while giggling.

In another broadcast on November 22, Jungkook revealed that he and the friend had drinks together over dinner: “I basically pulled an all-nighter (the night before), so I was really tired. (Here, he suddenly cut himself off and started talking about his current state: ‘Ah, I literally just woke up, I just woke up!’). Anyway, I ordered and ate gwamegi with my friend. Wow, gwamegi is so delicious these days. We had the gwamegi and some soju, around 5 or 6 PM, I think?”

This all-nighter followed by a hearty meal of gwamegi and soju also led to a funny moment when he woke up — with a swollen face.

Seeing Jungkook enjoy his life like any other young man hanging out with friends made fans genuinely happy. It’s clearly a rare period of rest that he can savor before entering a new year filled with a packed schedule as BTS prepares to return with the full lineup.
