Everyone is likely aware that Jungkook and Winter of aespa have been caught up in dating rumors for years over what fans call “couple items.” Netizens have pointed out similarities in the items the two have used, ranging from bracelets, shorts, and in-ear monitors to allegedly wearing similar nail polish on the same finger—the ring finger—or even speculation about matching tattoos that surfaced in December last year.
So far, all of these suspicions have remained nothing more than netizens’ speculation, with no concrete evidence proving that the two are romantically involved. Meanwhile, both BigHit Music and SM Entertainment have chosen not to comment on the matter, stating, “We cannot confirm as this concerns the artist’s private life.” However, the public is naturally curious and skeptical, and as a result, the speculation has continued to linger and spread across online communities.

In particular, since the two have been surrounded by dating rumors for such a long time, even their smallest social media activities tend to attract significant attention. Recently, netizens discovered that Jungkook and Winter had both liked the same Instagram post, once again fueling a wave of intense discussion.
Specifically, the post was uploaded in July with the caption, “I swear, this is the most beautiful picture of the moon on Earth,” accompanied by an image of the moon in a sky with a rainbow. Jungkook not only liked the post but also reposted it on his personal social media account, adding a moon emoji. Fans later confirmed that Winter had also liked the exact same post.

The discovery immediately divided netizens into different camps. Those who support the two as a couple wondered whether this could be another piece of evidence suggesting they are dating. However, many others pointed out that a simple like alone can hardly be considered proof of a romantic relationship.
What has angered many ARMYs the most, however, is that some overly aggressive accounts have turned the situation into personal attacks. For several consecutive days, Jungkook’s social media comment sections were reportedly flooded with inappropriate remarks, including people calling the idol insulting names, wishing harm upon him and his family, and even making open threats. The situation began to resemble a coordinated attack against Jungkook by a large group of haters rather than simply a reaction from a section of the fandom.

In response, ARMYs urgently called on fellow fans to take action to protect the idol. Fans were encouraged to “Go to Jungkook’s Instagram and leave good comments on his last two posts” and do the same on his TikTok and Threads accounts, while also being told to “Report those accounts when you see them.”
Some ARMYs also pointed out: “Instagram is strict about reporting, so these comments will be deleted quickly if you guys report them frequently, and pls don't respond! If you respond to them and post many replies, these comments will appear at the top of the page and be the first thing you see in the section.”
While taking action to protect Jungkook, ARMYs also expressed their anger and frustration over what the idol has been forced to endure, especially when the entire situation stems from nothing more than speculation by a section of the public. Fans commented:
- I'm so tired of this sick fans, he doesn't deserve this. These fans are actually very vile and disgusting to an unimaginable point
- I don't even understand where the hate is coming from. Those people need therapy. I sent everything to hybe... With screenshot with account
- Why is SM so obsessed with BTS and hybe??? They work over time to use media play to damage their reputation and send their rapid group stans to harrαѕѕ the boys over rumors. They are so bitter for no reason whatsoever...
- Looks like paid campaign. Might be due to their new release to farm engagement. Please stop engaging, just report. No free promo
- I honestly wouldn’t blame him at all if he decided to turn off his comments
- Imagine being so obsessed with Jungkook that you know which posts he reposts even though you're not a fan of him
- Wish they could do soмєтнing for their life and be productive instead. SUCH A LOOSERS
- May God always my protect Jungkook bro and his family from these evil people's ¢υяѕєs
- It's probably bots...soмєтнing similar happened with Lisa...that's how they attract attention i guess
- Are they stupid? Anyone can like a post, and secondly, it was her; Jungkook had nothing to do with it
- They should go show their displeasure with their faves— it’s not JK. Those people and bots are vile !!! JK is literally such a sweetheart of a person and people just can’t accept it.
