In the Seom is a game developed by HYBE with the collaboration of BTS members themselves. But they don't just stop at the development of levels in the game, but also have stories to convey in it.

With Jungkook recently, he made ARMYs sob when he brought back an image of him to Gureum - his late pet dog. And what Jungkook explained about Gureum's appearance in In The Seom made ARMYs unable to stop being touched:

Since April last year, HYBE has launched an interesting puzzle game called BTS Island: In The Seom - where ARMYs need to overcome different levels to explore the deserted island with the members. BTS and rebuild it to be the land of 7 members as well as ARMYs. With its colorful design and fun games, BTS Island: In The SEOM was created when the BTS members worked with the staff to add their own personal touches such as character design or dialogue.

The game is filled with inside jokes, custom messages, and more that only true ARMYs understand. However, one of the most tear-נєякing details was recently explained in Weverse Magazine, in an interview about the behind-the-scenes story behind the creation of In The Seom.

As many ARMYs are still playing this game and some ARMYs already know Jungkook's late dog Gureum made a special and affectionate appearance in the game. This pet dog has always followed Jungkook on the deserted island and has very warm conversations that Jungkook has for the pet here. But it can only stop at the game because Gureum is no longer in the world.

In it, the team that worked with Jungkook when creating Gureum in In The Seom shared a short paragraph that: "Certain aspects of the game, like (…) how Jungkook runs around the island with his pet Gureum, “can’t be seen anywhere else but In the SEOM with BTS, so they feel more special,” Kang Poorm, with the HYBE IM Game Planning Team, explained."

It is known that Gureum has been with Jungkook for many years since he was a child. In 2021, Gureum pa̾s̾sed away at the age of 20 and it left a traumatic memory for him. The cloud-wh̾i̾t ̾e and incredibly lovable puppy beloved by Jungkook is no more but Gureum's influence has been brought into the game to continue his legacy where he can continue to play with Jungkook.

Jungkook also wanted to recreate the images of Gureum in the game so that the two could continue to be together.Gureum only made it to the game after careful consideration (historical examination) and “based on Jung Kook’s views that ‘it would be nice if he were my pet in the game’ even though he already crossed that rainbow bridge in the sky.”

Jungkook's character says a lot of lovely phrases about Gureum like confessing his love to the dog and the sweet interaction between the two: "I need to feed gureum", "Did you see my Gureum", "I love you Gureum more than what words can express". The warm addition shows how much Jungkook's feelings and thoughts are for Gureum. He must really want to keep it forever!
