Sasaeng fan is a term not too unfamiliar to K-pop fans, referring to fans who are overly obsessed. They hunt, try to find and collect information, seriously violating the artist's privacy.
The problem of overzealous fans has become a big obsession for K-pop idols, especially superstars like Jungkook. Recently, a video recording the moment Jungkook cursєd the people lurking in front of his house on live broadcast quickly became viral.
Jungkook's reaction when facing sasaeng fans was supported by fans because he was really affected a lot by such privacy invasions:
Since the birth of the кσяєαn entertainment industry and the explosion of global fame, it has also been a time when celebrities have had to struggle with stalking crazy fans and seriously violating their privacy. Sasaengs have become a big obsession for idols in кσяєα when famous people are followed everywhere and even suddenly att@cked in their own homes.
With outstanding reputation like BTS and especially Jungkook, he also became one of the victims of this problem. During the past 10 years, it seems that Jungkook has never been able to live peacefully when there are so many people trying to approach or follow him everywhere, from gyms, cafes, restaurants to even his own home.
Recently, Jungkook also surprised fans when he revealed that there were sasaeng fans always lurking in front of his house on a live broadcast. Notably, Jungkook could not hold back his anger and directly cursєd these impolite people, making fans extremely excited.
Specifically, when he was walking on the street to enter his house, he saw stalkers around the area where he lived. Jungkook then exclaimed: "There are sasaengs in front my home too nowadays. Stop coming, you bas**rds, ssh– tsk" in front of hundreds of fans during the live broadcast.
The video quickly spread throughout social networks and fans couldn't stop shout out this situation:
- I love him sm for calling them out lmaooo
- CALL THEM OUT JUNGKOOK!! TELL THEM MY LOVE!! YOU TELL EM
- I can't believe how unsafe they let him feel
- Like how much should he stress this point for yall to understand! Stop harαssing him!
- this is the best response to them ever
- idk how these ppl aren’t charged because they’re literal stalkers this is so rєєpч and messed up
- New α∂∂ι¢тισи : Jungkook c̾u̾r̾s̾i̾n̾g ̾ in live
- Yeah tell them, they deserve all the cursєs but I’m glad that jk knows those are sesaengs and not armys
- So so so proud of him calling them out
- Why anyone would scare and annoy him like that, i will never understand..unacceptable
- Call them more kook, sue them
- I’m pisses off. they are so annoying
- Thats right sasaeng ba^%%%rds
- yall sasaengs better leave my man alone fr
This is not the first time Jungkook has had to speak out because of negative fans invading his life. In the past, Jungkook has warned many times about some people following him in many locations from the gym to his home as well as some people even sending food to his doorstep. He also warned that he would sue these people in court if such actions continued.
But even if Jungkook and вιg нιт Music really did it, there would still be other sasaengs violating his privacy. This really makes Jungkook feel annoyed and frustrated. Maybe that's why he can't avoid expressing strong emotions like the situation today.
Even though Jungkook is only a few days away from leaving showbiz for 18 months and performing his m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ service, sasaeng fans still can't stop chasing him. Obviously, this is a problem that has no solution while fans can only call on other fans to raise awareness and respect their idols' private lives.
