Before CORTIS debuted in 2025, TXT had been BTS’ only junior group under BigHit Music for six years. That is why BTS has always given their juniors plenty of attention and wholehearted support. Fans probably still remember the famous story of Jin mentioning TXT during an acceptance speech at a year-end award show even before they officially debuted, encouraging fans to give the rookie group support.

While all of the TXT members have shown the same level of respect toward BTS, on a few occasions, two members, Soobin and Beomgyu, have revealed a slightly stronger bias toward Jin. Through their stories, fans can clearly see how Jin’s kindness made the two members fall for him, turning them into two of his biggest fans.

First up is Soobin, who was one of the earliest members to openly express his special affection for Jin. He once said in an interview, “Ever since we first debuted, when I get asked who my bias is of the BTS sunbaenims, I’ve always answered that it’s Jin sunbaenim, right?” During several Weverse Live broadcasts, Soobin has frequently played Jin’s solo songs, including “Awake” and “Epiphany,” while showering his idol with praise for his looks, personality and music.

His admiration did not come only from observing Jin from afar, but also from his own personal experiences interacting with the “Worldwide Handsome,” even before TXT debuted.

"After pαѕѕing my audition and joining the company—back then, you know the practice rooms were in the basement, right? When we were practicing there, if the seniors came, we had to give up the vocal rooms and training space to them. And every time Jin sunbaenim came, he was so kind. He would greet us with a cheerful ‘Hello, everyone!’ and he felt sorry that we had to give up our practice space for them,” Soobin recalled.

Even after TXT had debuted, Jin continued to show care for his juniors despite his own busy schedule, which moved Soobin even more.

Soobin shared, “When the debut lineup got fixed, he asked when we had time and said that he wanted to eat with us someday. But we all got busy, but he got us pizza and said, ‘I really wanted to eat and talk to you guys, but it’s a shame that we can’t, so at least eat this amongst yourselves.’ He had the pizza delivered to us and left". 

He also emphasized once again how much Jin’s kindness meant to him since his trainee days: "Back then, I was still just a trainee, but he gave me so many touching words and actions. He became a senior I am extremely grateful to, respect deeply, and truly adore.”

Next is Beomgyu, who fans have noted seems to have become a frequent visitor at Jin’s home these days. “Whenever I have a day off, I go to Seokjin hyung’s home, eat a meal, play MapleStory, and then fall asleep. It’s fun… I think it’s even more fun because the person I’m with is Seokjin hyung. These days, I don’t play any other games. I only play MapleStory”, he shared during a live broadcast.

Aside from this recent instance, Beomgyu has revealed at least two other occasions when he visited Jin’s house. One was right after returning from the U.S. leg of ACT : TOMORROW, when Beomgyu wrote a message to fans on Weverse saying: “Ah, did I say this? When I came to кσяєα, on the first day I went to Seokjin hyung’s place. Even then, because I had indigestion, Seokjin hyung pricked my hand for me? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ. Everyone is pricking my hand", demonstrating how close the two are.

Fans also have noticed that whenever Jin’s name comes up during most of Beomgyu’s live broadcasts, he immediately starts talking nonstop about “Worldwide Handsome.”

He often emphasizes how Jin has taken care of him and the other TXT members since their trainee days and even years after their debut. Jin would frequently invite them out for meals and even welcome them into his home. Beomgyu also never misses a chance to praise the eldest BTS member for his kindness, much like Soobin has done.

At this point, fans couldn’t help but feel proud of Jin’s character and express their love for the close bond between the idols:
