In 2020, social media exploded when many viewers suggested Jin for the male lead role in the TV series adapted from the webtoon "True Beauty". While the author of the story admitted that many scenes were inspired by the prototype Jin, netizens commented that his acting sкιℓℓs, appearance and expressions were very suitable.

Later, although Jin did not participate in the film, netizens still could not stop suggesting him to participate in K-drama because they felt sorry for his acting talent. Although he is an idol, Jin stu∂ιєd professional acting at the prestigious Konkuk University.

Jin recently participated in the magazine's series Lie Detector Test - where celebrities will have to answer difficult questions from the crew and be evaluated for honesty by experts. Many famous artists who have participated in this series like Lady Gaga, BLACKPINK Rosé, Ariana Grande,...have been defeated by the accuracy of the lie detector.

Meanwhile, Jin was asked about "plans to start acting in film or TV soon" and he quickly replied that "None whatsoever" but the detector immediately considered a lie!

He even continued claiming that he had no plans. However, it was again deemed a “lie”. When asked if he was interested in becoming an actor, he shared that he was not. Once again, his answer's deceptive!

Although the above statements prove that Jin “really has plans to act,” his reasoning that "an actor takes a lot of work and effort and is a intimidating challenge" was confirmed to be true.

Next, even when he was given a hypothetical offer to act in a movie by Oscar director Bong Joon Ho, he gave an honest answer that he would decline and expressed that he had no intention of participating in a K-drama.

But considering the overall mixed opinions when it comes to his acting future, Jin gives fans a chance to hope that he has a plan for his acting debut. If it's not a K-drama, it's most likely a Hollywood movie given his recent αѕѕociation with Tom Cruise.
