ARMYs all joke about Jin's authority over Big Hit Music but it's actually half the truth. For the company, Jin is an artist but he also has the right to do what he likes and has the right to decide some things.

However, in the past, there was a time when Jin was rejected by the company many times because of this but later on, Jin proved how wrong the company was. That's also why ARMYs support him so much!

Jin is one of the oldest members of BTS and he is also influential in many of the group's works. Even the members are always proud of the fact that Jin is the one who communicates the group's problems with the company's staff.

He also shows his ability to make his own decisions on many things when the company does not handle them neatly. Even so, there are many times when Jin is prevented by Big hits such as in the production of solo songs. 'Awake' is a prime example of this.

Back in 2016, Big Hit Music once said that Awake was not suitable for Jin's voice and style. They refused to classify Awake as a solo song by Jin from the album Wings. But Jin didn't give up on perfecting the song. During the song's production, they repeatedly rejected his demo and reflected that the lyrics did not reflect a reality.

Despite the negatives he received, the song was eventually included in his album by Jin. It contains deep and hopeful messages for fans. Awake also proved its success when it brought Jin many remarkable achievements.

Awake is also a good opening song, setting the stage for Jin's later solo compositions. Later on, Jin ventured as a solo artist on several songs such as Tonight, Moon, Epiphany, Abyss, and Super Tuna. In addition, he has understood the importance of self-love in his lyrics, which is why his solo songs receive strong support.

It can be seen that nothing can stop Jin if he is determined to pursue to the end. Jin also proved to Big Hit how wrong they were by assuming Awake wasn't for him!
