Jin Replies To An ARMY's Jealous Comment Towards The Female Lead In His Upcoming MV

On the 13th, Jin revealed the music video poster for the title track 'Don't Say You Love Me' from the second mini album 'Echo' through BTS's official SNS. The poster, which looks like it was for a romantic drama with multiple versions, depicts moments from the past, creating a sharp emotional contrast and a deep aftertaste.

According to management company Big Hit Music, the music video for the title track was produced in a drama format.

The phrases engraved with "At the end of love" and "Our нєαятвяєαкιиg story" refer to the relationship between two people who have grown apart. The song itself is also described as “the pain of a crumbling romantic relationship, while also expressing the lingering emotions that make it hard for the couple to let each other go".”

As soon as the poster was shared on SNS, netizens were buzzing about the identity of his co-star in the MV. According to Big Hit Music's latest announcement, the actress who plays Jin's "lover" is the star of "High Kick 2" - Shin Se Kyung.

At the time, fans saw her and Jin's back, they went crazy over the romantic yet slightly sad feeling they brought. Then, they knew that she's Shin Se Kyung, they were even more convinced that the MV would be extremely attractive because both of them possess a-character-from-a-comic-book visuals.

Not only bringing satisfaction in terms of visuals, fans are confident that Jin and the actress's good acting background will deeply convey the musical message. On the other hand, many fans are also looking forward to the first time Jin and his female co-star interact directly with each other in the 3 minutes of the video.

However, not all fans are eager to see Jin “holding hands” with another girl!

In a post on Weverse a few hours ago, a fan left a “jealous” comment after the poster of 'Don't Say You Love Me' was released. “Kim Seokjinn.. who told you to hold a woman's hand.. who told you to go around being pulled like that... Just hold Tuna's hand..!!!”, this ARMY wrote.

Surprisingly, Jin also saw this comment and he had a quick response right after that, making netizens laugh.

“Sorry..Also, tuna doesn't have hands..”, he was honest and humorous.

It was clear that Jin was just answering the truth, but fans were even more impressed by his tact. Without reacting too violently or pandering to fans, BTS's eldest brother knows how to draw the line between idol and fan but gently and humorously.

Other netizens pointed out that Jin was being cute with his comment but also warned other fans not to “teach” idols what to do or comment as if the idols are their property.

ARMYs shared their reactions after witnessing this incident:
