According to a report by Medical Today on the 5th, Jin purchased an apartment at Hannam The Hill in Yongsan for 17.5 billion won (~ $13 million USD), paying the full amount up front in cash without a loan. 

This is not the first time Jin has purchased a house at Hannam The Hill. In July 2019, he purchased an exclusive apartment of 233㎡ for ~ $3.3 million USD, and in November of the same year, he purchased another exclusive apartment of 206㎡ for ~ $3.1 million USD. As real estate prices skyrocketed, Jin is estimated to have made a total profit of more than 10 billion won (~ $7.36 million USD).

Meanwhile, Hannam The Hill is a high-end residential complex with a maximum of 12 floors, a total of 32 buildings, and 600 households. This high-end residential complex is located in a key location connecting Gangnam and Gangbuk, close to the Gangnam business district to the south and the Gwanghwamun central business district to the north, making it an excellent location for business, living, and transportation.

Thanks to these geographical advantages and living amenities, Hannam The Hill is considered a typical residence for the top 1% of the wealthy, including CEOs of large corporations, high-ranking government officials, and celebrities. Celebrities currently living there include Kim Tae Hee and her husband, singer Rain, and famous actors such as So Ji Sub, Han Hyo Joo, etc.

Hannam The Hill was also the shared dormitory of 7 BTS members for a long time before 2020 - when the members decided to move out. It seems that Jin decided to own many apartments here after that experience.
