“There’s a lot of pressure to meet up with people. I haven’t changed, but my friends find it difficult to be around me”, Jin once confessed about the downside of being a top Kpop superstar in the world. Sometimes, he also admits that he doesn't have many friends but contrary to what many people think, that doesn't mean he doesn't have close friends who are not famous people.

In the latest episode of the Disney+ documentary BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star, Jin made fans feel excited when sharing about a camping trip with his friends - friends outside the entertainment industry. This was the first time Jin shared this precious moment and fans were delighted by their cute conversation.

Historically, Jin is one of the most private members of BTS as he rarely reveals his personal life and close friendships. That's why many people think that BTS are Jin's only friends, but in reality, he is truly a social butterfly among celebrities.

Not only does Jin have friends who are successful in the entertainment industry, but Jin also has non-celebrity friends. In the latest episode of Disney+ BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star, a short segment focuses on personal time of Jin with his close friends was shared. Fans were first introduced by Jin to the group of non-celebrity friends he has had since before his debut.

They went camping and talked together, making fans consider their true friendship even more. Specifically, Jin revealed he had burned himself, and it hurt, so they advised him to ice it. When he admitted he was “too lazy,” one friend teased him to just “endure it.” He responded, “I tried to endure it when I tore a ligament,” and the friend retorted, “I don’t think that’s how that works.”

Following that funny situation, Jin talked about the time when he tore a ligament, he would not have known and got the proper treatment if it was not for his friends. They took him to the doctor, and now his finger has recovered, thanks to them.

Meanwhile, one of his friends was worried that Jin's parents would blame him for the Kpop superstar's injury. But on the contrary, Jin pointed out that his mother really liked his friend named Gun Han because she thought that thanks to hanging out with Gun Han, Jin was recruited by Big Hit and debuted as a member of BTS. This moment really made fans laugh out loud.

Then, Jin shared more about his friendship in a one-on-one interview. He explained that he and his friends make time for each other, even when they’re busy. He trusts them enough that they sometimes hang out at his home when he’s out working, so when he returns, he’s met by them.

He said in the interview: "We meet up about six times a week when we can. About once or twice a week when we’re too busy. When I’m out working, they’ll hang out at my house playing video games and greet me when I get home. When I leave the house, they hang out among themselves and leave. I know a few celebrities, and they all say friends like that are rare. I’m glad and relieved."

- Jin is so private so him sharing this with us feels special. I am happy he has this  group of friends, it feels like a family too!
