Jin Cult Is Taking Over TikTok, But j-hope Is Making An Appearance

Jin might currently be enlisted in the military, but his “cult” is getting stronger than ever. Jin's name continues to attract attention on social media thanks to the fact that ARMYs keep mentioning him.

Previously, they made the news during BTS’s final Love Yourself: Speak Yourself concerts in Seoul.

In 2018, Jin himself joined the cult for his birthday. As ARMYs all changed their profile pictures to the iconic photo of him, he did so, too, via BTS’s shared Twitter account.

Now, five years later, the “Jin cult” is making a comeback. This time, it’s on TikTok.

TikTok users were shocked (and confused) when they realized that a photo of Jin was taking over TikTok. ARMYs were all changing their profile picture to a specific photo of Jin and encouraging others to do it too.

The photo in question? The meme below of Jin from Bon Voyage 2.

Some netizens have been confused as to the reason the new trend started. Who created it and why? Are we simply bored? Do we miss Jin too much?

However, now when you scroll through TikTok, you might notice not only Jin’s face but another BTS member: j-hope. He has begun to emerge amongst the “Jin cult.”

ARMYs were encouraging each other to change their profile picture to J-Hope for at least a day or even include his photo next to Jin’s in honor of j-jope’s 29th birthday.

The only issue is that one meme of j-hope has not been agreed upon. Some had chosen an edit of j-hope in front of a burning building, while others had used a meme of him from when BTS performed “Butter” on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

Still, you’ll see mainly photos of the latter amongst the “Jin cult” now in the comment section on BTS videos on TikTok:

- wahahahaha jin fans so funny just like jin itself

- Hopefully Jin knows he has crazy supporters.

- Yes,we jin fans would do anything for him. even create a cult

- THE ONLY CULT THAT WE NEED. SEOKJINIES RISING

- Jinhit forever

- Jin cult is real

- Jin cult collaborate with j-hope cult

- I was a part of Jin cult in 2018 and i really get excited when it comes back

- live laugh live Jin

This isn’t the first time that the “Jin cult” has “randomly” taken over social media. Previously, they created memes and edits, including Jin’s face plastered everywhere.
