So BTS and ARMY around the world have passed another new year together. But this year is probably the most special first year when ARMYs don't have Jin by their side.

Instead, Jin and BTS filmed a pre-prepared video for the 2023 New Year greeting and so ARMYs still get some comfort in it. Even BTS members sent different New Year wishes to ARMYs on Jin's behalf.

But there was a surprise last night, on the eve of the new year, Jin called all the members to send them New Year wishes. This was shared by j-hope in his latest Weverse Live:

During the past New Year moments, ARMYs have received a lot of wishes and messages from BTS and that makes the first moment of the new year even more meaningful. But it seems that Jin's lack of news makes it impossible for ARMYs to enjoy the new year to the fullest.

But recently, in his latest Weverse Live, j-hope helped ease ARMYs' nostalgia for Jin by sharing a heartwarming story about him on New Year's Eve. That's when Jin called him to wish him a happy new year and say something to him.

Specifically, a few hours ago, j-hope performed some of his songs on the show New Year’s @RockinEve at Time Squares. This is also his final overseas schedule of 2022 and the first of 2023. While the other members were in Korea and sent their greetings to ARMYs via Instagram and Weverse, j-hope went on Weverse Live right in the US after completing his performance.

During Weverse Live, he shared many things about his performance as well as sending New Year wishes to ARMYs. But the biggest New Year's gift that j-hope brought was probably the revelation that Jin called him last night. j-hope even missed his call but Jin texted j-hope and told him to take the phone and as soon as he got the call from Jin he was overjoyed.

j-hope said that: "Jin hyung our oldest hyung went to the military, actually yesterday at night I got a message from him saying J-hooope answer my call~ and I was like I didn't know it was your numberrrr and it was so nice to hear his voice".

j-hope also said: "I think he's (Jin) doing well so I was really relieved". Through j-hope's story, it can be seen that Jin is doing a great job and he also has special times to be allowed to contact his family and friends. BTS. This makes the family as well as the members feel warm when receiving news from him.

Perhaps more than us, j-hope, BTS and family are the ones most looking forward to calls from Jin and so is he. It's good to be able to see the interaction between them.
