Jin was discharged from the military this morning after completing his 1 year and 6 months of military service at the 5th Division Recruit Training Center in Yeoncheon. Immediately after his discharge and meeting with the BTS members, Jin held a short broadcast on Weverse to say hello to ARMYs.
Jin expressed his love for his fans along with what he plans to do after his discharge. In particular, in the story, Jin revealed the fierce "argument" between him and his management company to do this for his fans:
On June 12, Worldwide Handsome Jin returned after completing his military service. Jin opened the conversation on Weverse Live with fans by saying, "Hello everyone, it's been such a long time. Bangtan! Hello it's BTS Jin" and added, "I'm back after 1 year and 6 months. It's been so long since being in front of a camera and I'm not too sure what to say but I'll try my best."
Jin's meeting with fans right after his discharge from the military showed his great affection for them. Not only that, even before his discharge, BTS's eldest brother has always expressed his longing for the fandom and planned events to meet ARMYs in person. In addition to today's live broadcast, tomorrow, June 13, Jin will also personally hold a party with ARMYs to celebrate BTS's 11th debut anniversary.
'2024 Festa' held at the Jamsil Sports Complex is divided into 1st part and 2nd part. In the first part, the celebration will be held privately, and then, part 2 of FESTA will be a free hug event with about 1,000 ARMYs by Jin. Regarding this special and rare event, Jin said that he had to fιgнт many times with the company to be able to achieve his wishes.

From March to April I insisted on a free hug outside because i wanted to hug those who have waited for me. so the company was in discussions, and they also said i should only do 50 since its the day after my discharge but i said no, 3,000 people and they finally agreed to 300, and i said no as much people as possible, and they said 500 and i said no, more and we finally agreed on 1,000 people".
