Jimin Shares LA Stories — SUGA & RM’s Doting Treatment Of Him, Leaving ARMYs Sobbing

If you remember, during the full-group livestream in early July — the first one after all seven BTS members completed their military service — they revealed their plan to live in the U.S. for about two months to produce their new album, scheduled for release in spring 2026.

About a week after that announcement, RM, SUGA, Jimin, and Jungkook were spotted at the airport heading to the group’s creative camp in Los Angeles. The remaining members joined them in the U.S. after finishing their individual schedules, and the group indeed spent two full months working hard together there.

But more than the excitement about a new album, what made fans happiest was seeing all seven members gathered in one place again for the first time in at least three years since group activities were paused. Their spontaneous livestreams by the beach and the photos of all seven together reminded fans of the precious times when they lived in the dorm or carried out schedules side by side.

On top of that, in a livestream by the two youngest members, Jimin and Jungkook, fans were touched hearing stories about how the older members doted on the younger ones. The moment immediately brought back the “family feeling” fans had been longing for.

Specifically, Jimin said: “Guys I went shopping for clothes with Yoongi hyung and Namjoon hyung since they said they wanted to shop...,” Jungkook then chimed in, “I wanted to go shopping too.” Jimin followed up with a funny twist to the story: “But they didn't shop for anything and I, alone, came out holding 3 bags of stuff”.

Earlier, Jimin and RM had uploaded photos from their shopping trip on Instagram. Without this livestream, fans would have αѕѕumed Jimin was the one who initiated the outing — he looked like he was trying on everything and came off like a true shopping enthusiast in the pictures RM took.

But it turns out the older members were the ones who had the idea in the first place… yet they bought nothing in the end. And who bought the most? The one who got dragged along!

Fans also noticed that even though RM didn’t purchase anything for himself, he did buy a hat for Jimin simply because he thought it suited him. Meanwhile, Jimin mentioned that RM and SUGA, even though they weren’t particularly excited about shopping, patiently waited as the younger members tried on items they liked at multiple stores.

These details left fans deeply moved. It’s possible that RM and SUGA suggested the outing not for themselves, but because they knew the younger members would enjoy it. The way the hyung line cares for the maknae line hasn’t changed at all — even now, when the “younger” members are already grown men in their 30s.

Jimin’s story charmed fans and sparked an outpouring of positive reactions online. Everyone was touched by the adorable and genuine bond between the BTS members:

- Im glad they are having a great time but can't stop laughing about what Jimin saying, even just a small part of their life. My OT7

- Awww so Namjoon bought hat just for you, he didn't shopped for himself. My Minimoni heart

- So the hyung line wanted to hang out with the maknaes and used shopping as an excuse… plot twist: maknae line took it seriously

- They didn’t even want to shop… they just wanted to spend time with the kids

- Hyung line be like 'let’s bond through fashion' but forgot maknae line got taste, budget, and a cart ready

- It’s giving: 'We’re bored, let’s go watch Jimin shop.' A whole BTS pastime now.

- I’m actually sobbing… they’re really a family. Their bond is so strong

- Why is this нιтting me so hard… they’re really a family

- The way they care for each other… it’s too much
