Jimin Reveals Jin Reached His Heaviest Weight In His Life During Military Service

BTS members are entering the period of performing m̴i̴l̴i̴t̴a̴r̴y̴ service mixed with promoting individual activities. Jin also became the first BTS member to complete an individual solo song and then enlist in the army.

Since then, ARMYs seem to be less updated on Jin's situation than the other members. But fortunately, the members understand how much ARMYs miss him and occasionally reveal a few stories related to Jin's life in the m̴i̴l̴i̴t̴a̴r̴y̴.

One of them is the recent story that Jimin and SUGA exchanged on the latest episode of SUCHWITA. Fortunately, what they bring is good information.

In the latest episode of Suchwita, Jimin appeared as the 7th special guest. It was also Jimin's broadcast to promote his new solo album, FACE, which was released a few days earlier.

Jimin's appearance on the show excited ARMYs because they wanted to see what Jimin and SUGA would be like facing each other during a drinking party. The two spent a lot of time chatting about music, his life as a trainee, and his current life, which of course also includes his new songs. The conversation was really meaningful and worthwhile for ARMYs.

However, in addition to the stories surrounding the two, Jimin and SUGA also took time to talk about the other members of the group, especially Jin. Jin had been in the army for nearly 100 days at the time the talk show was recorded.

Not only that, through Jimin and SUGA's conversation, we can also see that their Suchwita conversation was done after Jimin and j-hope visited Jin from Yeoncheon Training Center and before Jin was on his day-off recently. So during the talk, SUGA just mentioned how he wanted to visit Jin with Jimin and j-hope. But because of the previous schedule, SUGA was unable to join the trip.

Since then, at the talk show, SUGA asked Jimin about Jin's current situation. SUGA could totally do this by texting or calling Jimin before but he also seems to want ARMYs to be updated and so he just asked Jimin on chat.

Jimin then shared that Jin is doing great and he's even hít the heaviest weight of his life. Jin gained 66 kg (145.5 lbs) during his mandatory m̴i̴l̴i̴t̴a̴r̴y̴ service over the past 3 months or so.

Jimin shared, "He's 66 kg (145.5 kg). Jin hyung." SUGA was surprised and responded, "Isn't that the most he's weighed in his entire life?" Jimin added, "Yeah, he never went over 63 kg (139 lbs) before." SUGA was happy to hear the news and said, "He's getting healthier."

Besides, Jimin once again shared how much Jin loves Mulhwe (kσrєαn food usually consists of thinly sliced raw fish served with a spicy, cold, and aromatic broth). This was also confirmed by SUGA when he revealed that Jin only talked about Mulhwe in the BTS chat group. SUGA shared, "He kept talking about Mulhwe in our group chat. That's all he talked about".

This made ARMYs seem to burst out laughing as it seemed like Jin was craving it after a long time without enjoying it. Previously, j-hope and Jimin also revealed that they brought this favorite dish to Jin and he ate it really well.

Recently, Jin was also spotted on his first vacation after being enlisted for 100 days. In the last few days, Jin and BTS had their first reunion because he was able to go home on vacation for 3-5 days and they had a happy dinner together.

It's great to see BTS reunited once again. Although they can't interact with Jin much, through BTS members, ARMYs also feel reαѕѕured that Jin is always healthy and has a good life.
