Although the K-Pop fan community has always been known for its many unique features, it can be said that fanchant is one of the most impressive "specialties". Of course, BTS and ARMYs are no exception.

Normally, ARMYs rarely use fanchant for individual members, but often αssociated with the group because BTS members always work together. That is like a hard-to-give creed of all fans.

However, recently when Jimin did a pre-recording for his solo debut stage, he prevented ARMYs from doing a fanchant with his name. Instead, Jimin instructs ARMYs to do this and it makes all the fans sob at his flair. Let's see what he did in the pre-recording through the stories of the ARMYs who directly participated.

For K-pop fans in general, fanchants are words or phrases that are chanted by fans to cheer for their favorite idol in a certain song. They are often created to match the song's melody, be it using the phrases in the song right away or intermingling the name of the group, the names of the idols in the group or the name of the song in the most harmonious and meaningful way.

Usually fanchant will be most evident in the comeback stages of idols to cheer up the spirit as well as show the solidarity and strength of the entire fan community. Therefore, it can be affirmed that fanchant is a measure of the fans' support and enthusiasm.

Recently, Jimin stood on stage as a solo artist. He also does weekly music show promotions for his new album. Therefore, ARMYs also give some kinds of fanchant for his stages. 

Typically on March 26, Jimin along with lucky fans did a recording for his stage at Mnet Mcountdown. This is the second music show stage that Jimin recorded this week after the previous KBS Music Bank.

Similar to previous recording sessions, only a few hundred lucky ARMYs were able to attend and cheer for Jimin at this stage. Therefore, other ARMYs are looking forward to what they can tell after the recording is over. Of course, as expected, many interesting stories took place and were narrated.

One of them included ARMYs doing a fanchant for Jimin at Mnet today. One fan recounted that after Jimin's performance ended, the ARMYs present did a fanchant of his name. Therefore, they chanted "PARK JIMIN PARK JIMIN", but then Jimin denied this and instructed ARMYs to chant "BTS!! BTS!!" instead.

This moved the fans there and they did as Jimin said. Not only that, but Jimin went on to talk about how the group will make a comeback and how he remembers the memories of when they were promoting together.

Another ARMY even recounted Jimin was saying how he isn’t the type who’d host conversations in this kind of setting. When he’s with members someone would lead and he could just like ‘What are you saying~’ here and there. It feels lonely and hard, but he has to tough it out so that when BTS are back together again he could be a cooler version of himself. 

It seems that like ARMYs, Jimin has a lot of respect for BTS and even when he's on a mission as a solo artist, he always hopes it will be a way to make BTS memorable. He never seems to separate himself from BTS and has always been.

- He clearly misses his group and it must be very hard and actually a little scary to be in the spotlight all on your own but honestly he’s doing so well. I’m so proud and I can’t wait to see the performances

- I miss OT7 so much too Mimi. But he's doing so well on his own too and I hope he knows that we're so proud of him

- I didn't want to start tearing up but I did

- they are will back together.. and I will wait for that day to come.

- Jimin is míssíng BTS as much as us armys. let's wait together and time will fly
