A few hours ago, Jimin went to meet his fans during a random live broadcast. This naturally made ARMYs extremely surprised and excited to see him after a long time.
However, the joy did not last long when it was during the live broadcast that he revealed a reason why he couldn't come to the fans sooner. This reason also surprised fans and never seemed to be prepared to receive it.
Here is the situation that happened and fans have given a lot of thought to what Jimin said:
Among the BTS members, only V is currently busy with promotional activities for his full solo album. Therefore, other members including Jimin do not often appear with their fans.
But fortunately, after many live broadcasts of other members such as RM, V, Jungkook, etc., Jimin also came to meet his fans on Weverse Live. He appeared in casual clothes but his hairstyle and makeup were still on due to returning from his appearance at Dior's event today.
Jimin has shared many stories surrounding his life recently and also his plans for the near future. While sitting down and talking to fans, ARMYs discovered that Jimin's hands were swollen at the knuckles, and the wound looked quite painful and swollen. So many fans left comments to ask about his hands.
As soon as he saw those comments, Jimin rea̾s̾sured him that he was not injured but that they were traces of training. He said: "I've come a bit late right sorry, and my hand. Oh I didn't ȟɥȑț it, it got scratched a bit from exercising". That reminds fans that Jimin has been practicing boxing for a long time. Luckily it's not a serious problem.
However, what Jimin said next made fans feel sad and didn't seem ready for this. It's an issue related to m̴i̴l̴i̴t̴a̴r̴y̴ service. First, Jimin suddenly mentioned that the reason he hasn't been doing live broadcasts with fans recently is that he doesn't know how to talk to ARMYs even though he thinks a lot about the fans.
He began: "These days, what have I been doing? Not much. I haven't been visiting you much but I've been thinking of you a lot. *pause* I'm not sure if I should tell you now but I've been looking at things objectively and thinking that there are things I want to improve and work on.
I've also been working on songs and practicing from the start, and I've been thinking, Why didn't I do this from the beginning? I want to grow and come and show you at concerts so. And when I started looking at parts I could improve, there were many."
He then mentioned some of his plans for the near future but it is worth noting that he mentioned that he will be enlisting in the near future. This surprised fans because apparently, Jimin has some time left until he needs to enlist.
Specifically, he said: "I'll have to go to the m̴i̴l̴i̴t̴a̴r̴y̴ and in the remaining time, I was thinking a lot about how I should spend time with you. And those thoughts took a while so it delayed me coming to see you. But I know you're always waiting for us and cheering for the members and I've been watching with a happy heart."
It turned out that joining the army made Jimin feel difficult because he didn't know how to face ARMYs. The moment of saying goodbye to fans and seeing each other again after a long time is always not easy for BTS members. But in the end, he also sat down to confide and mentally prepare ARMYs before that day actually came.
After Jimin shared this, fans were left feeling sad and didn't expect it to come anytime soon. But besides that, everyone has great support for whatever decision he makes:
