Jimin Exposes V’s New Tattoo At Stanford Day 2 Concert, Sending ARMYs Into A Frenzy

All members of BTS now have tattoos after getting matching friendship tattoos together in 2022 to commemorate a decade of being by each other’s side. For several members, this marked a major turning point, as many of them had previously been hesitant about getting tattoos. Both SUGA and RM once shared the same mindset: they had considered getting tattoos but ultimately gave up on the idea because they were afraid they would grow tired of them and want to remove them later.

Before the friendship tattoos, only Jimin and Jungkook were known as the members who were truly pαѕѕionate about tattoos. Jungkook famously has a full sleeve filled with deeply personal designs, while Jimin also has several delicate tattoos tied closely to his journey of growth and self-discovery. The two of them were also the ones who pushed the idea of friendship tattoos for the entire group.

Interestingly, after completing the friendship tattoos, they seemed to inspire the other members to explore tattoo art as well. j-hope quickly became the first member to join the “more than one tattoo” club by tattooing his iconic phrase, “I’m your hope. You’re my hope,” on both knees. Even RM, who once feared getting tattoos, recently revealed two small tattoos on his arms: a “natural sign” on the inside of his upper arm — representing returning to one’s true self, regaining balance, and starting over after life changes — as well as a bαѕѕ clef on his wrist, symbolizing his deep love for music, rhythm, and harmony.

And it seems like V may have secretly joined the “tattoo addict” club a long time ago — fans simply didn’t realize it until Jimin α¢¢ι∂єитally exposed him during the Stanford concert on the 2nd!

Specifically, the discovery happened during the opening segment of “Body To Body” when j-hope’s “I need” part began playing. Usually, the members playfully tease each other on stage to hype up the atmosphere, and today’s concert was no different. Jimin jokingly lifted V’s shirt, briefly exposing part of his abs. However, that wasn’t even the main point!

What truly caught fans’ attention was that when V’s shirt was pulled up, many noticed a fairly distinct mark near the back of his waist that looked strikingly similar to a tattoo. At first, some αѕѕumed it could simply be dirt, bruising, or scars left over from his time serving in the SDT after discharge. But the more people zoomed in on the images, the more convinced they became that it was actually tattoo ink.

Some quick-thinking fans even dug up an Instagram photo V had shared back in August last year while he was in LA that looked remarkably similar to the alleged tattoo — an illustration of a little prince with a “V” symbol on the knee. At the time, he posted it with the cryptic caption, “I hope you like it,” though fans had no idea what exactly he wanted them to “like.”

What makes this even more interesting is that the image closely resembles a tattoo design previously posted on the Instagram account of famous tattoo artist Dr. Woo — the same artist who tattooed j-hope’s “hope” tattoo around that same period. On top of that, V had also posted a selfie with Dr. Woo during that LA trip.

After piecing all the clues together, most fans are now “95% convinced” that V truly has another personal tattoo aside from the BTS friendship tattoo — and has been secretly hiding it this entire time!

If this turns out to be true, fans can’t help but thank Jimin for unintentionally giving ARMY such a precious surprise. Right now, discussions about V’s possible tattoo are spreading rapidly across social media:

- I said it might be a scar way back, but now i see that it might be this. And his caption? "I hope you like it" is sus to me now. Like he meant he hopes we like his tattoo

- HONESTLY SOBBING. He gave us a hint with his insta story. I never thought it would be a tattoo

- Taehyung and Hobi actually planned this together at Dr. Woo’s studio. I knew it — once you get one tattoo, you end up wanting ten more

- Back then, we all thought he got it tattooed on his knee, but he actually got it on his waist

- The concept of jimin hard launching it when tae is the one who got him doing a tattoo all over his back my stomach f*cking hurts

- Taehyung got a fckingggggg tattoo oh my fcking goodness

- KIM TAEHYUNG HAVING A SECRET TATTOO THIS WHOLE TIME??? I’m actually losing my mind right now

- The fact that V hid a tattoo for nearly a year and Jimin α¢¢ι∂єитally exposed it at a concert is the most BTS thing ever

- The little prince design being connected to him makes me emotional because it’s literally so V-coded

- First the friendship tattoo, now THIS? Yeah… members definitely fell into the tattoo rabbit hole

- Jimin casually lifting Tae’s shirt and α¢¢ι∂єитally revealing the fandom’s biggest mystery of the year. Thank you Jimin-ah
