BTS officially kicked off the second leg of the North αмєяι¢αn stop of their 'BTS WORLD TOUR' with two concerts at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on August 1 and 2 (local time). The performances marked the group's return to the same venue just two weeks after serving as co-headliners for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ Halftime Show on July 19. Compared to the timeline of their 'BTS WORLD TOUR' stop at MetLife in May 2019, this comeback came after approximately seven years and two months.
Over the course of the two sold-out shows, approximately 157,000 fans packed the stadium, singing along to BTS's кσяєαn-language songs throughout the night. One of the most unforgettable moments was the au∂ιєnce's mαѕѕive singalong to the кσяєαn folk song "Arirang," which has become a signature moment of this tour. During the finale, "Into the Sun," a spectacular fireworks display lit up the night sky, blending with the deafening cheers from the crowd to create a breathtaking ending.

Although the concerts were an overwhelming success, several moments after the second show left fans deeply concerned—particularly a series of videos highlighting Jimin's physical condition!
One clip that quickly went viral on social media captured the moment the camera panned to Jimin lying on the stage floor. He appeared visibly exhausted and even waved his hand, signaling for the camera to stop filming him while he was not in his best condition. Witnessing the rare moment, one fan commented, "I think this was the first time Jimin ever shooed the cameraman away. He always gives 100%, even when he's exhausted," emphasizing just how drained he must have been.
Soon afterward, more videos surfaced, further suggesting that Jimin had been battling extreme exhaustion during the second night at MetLife. One fan-recorded clip showed him collapsing into a seated position on the stage immediately after a performance. He appeared as though he had experienced dizziness caused by severe exhaustion or heat-related illness. According to concertgoers who attended the show, the weather was extremely hot and humid that day. Under such conditions, continuously moving across the mαѕѕive stage while performing intense choreography for hours likely took a significant toll on his physical condition.
Fans also noticed that Jimin's condition seemed serious enough for the other BTS members to keep checking on him throughout the remainder of the concert. RM was seen running over to where Jimin was sitting to ask if he was okay, only walking away after Jimin nodded to reαѕѕure him. Later, as Jimin attempted to stand up and rejoin the other members in interacting with fans, Jin gestured for him to remain seated and continue resting.
After resting for a few minutes, Jimin still did not appear to have fully recovered, yet he tried to get back on his feet and walk toward the members as they greeted the au∂ιєnce. Jin once again noticed his condition and signaled for him to rest a little longer. Jimin was then seen squatting on the stage, seemingly trying to regain his strength.
Another moment during "MIC Drop" also worried fans. Despite giving his all during the explosive performance, Jimin briefly ℓσѕт his balance and stumbled. Fortunately, the fall was not serious. He quickly recovered and even flashed a bright smile, seemingly brushing off the incident to avoid making fans worry or feel uncomfortable.
This unwavering professionalism is precisely what left fans so emotional. Throughout the concert, Jimin appeared determined to hide his exhaustion, allowing fans to see only his best performances and his warmest smiles. Even at the very end of the show, he still finds soмєтнing beautiful to say: "It’s really humid and hot today, isn’t it, everyone? It was really hot and humid for us too, so it wasn’t easy. But seeing all of you smiling so beautifully, singing, and dancing… I think you made even those difficult moments feel so beautiful."

Witnessing everything that happened only made ARMYs love and appreciate him even more. Fans also expressed their hope that after completing the two MetLife concerts, Jimin will have enough time to properly rest and recover before BTS heads to the next stop of their world tour, writing:
- I can't imagine how they do these shows in this heat/humidity. I do hope he's ok- just rest for as long as he needs to. Boston is next, and it's supposed to be in the 80s & 90s both days.
- Please guys, dress appropriately, and take necessary breaks. Your health and physical wellbeing are more important than anything else
