The name of this dog means "lion" but Shih Tzu are actually very lovable dogs. In the photos shared by j-hope, the dog is often seen wearing cute bows, pins and colorful outfits.
Normally, Mickey lives with his parents in the countryside and is taken care of very carefully by his sister. Not only that, the dog also has a very luxurious life, goes to dog clαѕѕes, goes to dog spas regularly, and even the scarf must be Louis Vuitton.
For fans, Mickey is an important one and receives a lot of attention. During j-hope's recent live broadcast, fans asked about the dog's health condition, but his answer left them stunned.

It is unclear how old Mickey is, but the Shih Tzu breed has a lifespan of about 10-16 years. In 2015, j-hope shared that the dog was about 6 years old, so the announcement of both of them about his health being weak at the moment is understandable.
Furthermore, 4 years ago, Mickey had to undergo prosthetic eye surgery when his glaucoma became severe and painful, and since then, he has been unable to see.
It is known that Mickey was adopted by j-hope's sister and his mother after being left at a gas station with a note 12 years ago. Since then, the puppy has been cared for and treated as the "maknae" of the family.
