j-hope's Sister Accidentally Reveals His Luxury Apartment in Her Latest Vlog

j-hope is one of the BTS members known to own multiple properties and is considered one of the “idol billionaires” with an impressive real estate portfolio. Over the years, he has continued to spend big on luxury apartments in some of Seoul’s most prestigious neighborhoods, from Seongsu-dong to Yongsan. In March this year, the idol made headlines when he sold the first luxury apartment he purchased at Trimage for 40 billion won, reportedly earning an estimated actual profit of around 16.5 billion won.

While j-hope’s talent for real estate investment is undeniable, fans have been genuinely curious for years about what the living space of someone who is both “young, rich” and known for having such refined taste would look like. Since BTS members rarely reveal their private living spaces to the public, fans have had very few opportunities to get a glimpse inside their homes. Fortunately, j-hope’s sister appears to have α¢¢ι∂єитally given fans a brief look at her younger brother’s luxurious apartment in her latest vlog.

In the vlog uploaded three days ago, j-hope’s sister shared that her husband had gone on a weekend trip with his friends, making her a “free woman.” She even humorously captioned it: “This free woman has nowhere else to go, so she's heading to her parents' place!” She then explained: “And since my dad came up to Seoul for the first time in a really long time. I'll see Mickey too, laze around the house, eat, and relax.”

Interestingly, later in the vlog, j-hope’s sister filmed herself sitting down to eat and chat with her parents inside a luxury apartment. Although j-hope’s sister did not reveal anything about the location, fans quickly spotted several familiar details and suspected that this was none other than j-hope’s penthouse at AFER Hangang.

One of the details that caught fans’ attention the most was a large towel featuring all seven BTS members along with the quote “What is your love song?”, a merchandise item from the group’s ARIRANG album promotions. There was also a portrait featuring j-hope’s signature red outfit and a soft MANG cushion from BT21 — the character created by j-hope. The layout of the room where j-hope’s parents and sister were sitting also appeared quite similar to the layout of an apartment at AFER Hangang.

Because of this, fans believe that the place where his parents were staying while they came to Seoul to prepare for a medical checkup was none other than their son j-hope’s home — the home of a son who has been away frequently lately due to BTS’s ongoing world tour!

The vlog not only delighted fans by giving them a glimpse into the Jung family’s everyday life inside j-hope’s home, but also α¢¢ι∂єитally allowed them to discover some interesting decorative items in the idol’s living space. These included a display cabinet filled with what appeared to be porcelain collectibles, a bladeless Dyson fan with an air-purifying function, and a cotton tablecloth from Williams-Sonoma’s Famille Rose collection. The tablecloth features fruit and butterfly motifs inspired by the clαѕѕic Famille Rose porcelain style and costs around $90–$110.

As for this penthouse, кσяєαn media previously reported that j-hope purchased it in 2020 and completed the transfer of ownership in June 2024, for approximately 12 billion won. It is a two-story apartment with a combined exclusive-use area of 273.86 square meters across the upper and lower floors.

Meanwhile, AFER Hangang is a luxury residential complex consisting of just 26 units, with five basement levels and 10 above-ground floors, located next to Yongsan Park in Seoul. Residents can enjoy views of both Yongsan Park and the Han River from inside the apartments. The complex was designed as an approximately 303㎡ ecological park and offers a range of private services, including limousine service, housekeeping, and personal concierge services. j-hope is also neighbors with several high-profile stars, including Gong Yoo, Kim Go-eun, Han Hyo-joo, Soo-ae, Ryu Deok-hwan, Jeon Su-rin, and soccer player Kim Ki-hee.
