j-hope Unveils A Surprising Fact About Indonesian ARMYs After 8 Years Of Returning

j-hope kicked off his first solo tour in late February 2025 from кσяєα and has now reached the final leg of his journey.

In March, j-hope made the world explode with a successful tour in North αмєяι¢α with famous venues such as the Barclays Center indoor stadium in New York, Allstate Arena in Chicago. In particular, when he arrived in Los Angeles, j-hope became the first кσяєαn solo artist to hold a solo performance at a "huge" outdoor stadium - BMO Stadium in Los Angeles with a capacity of 22,000 people.

On the other hand, when j-hope returned to Asia in mid-April until now, fans in these countries have also shown great support, no less than North αмєяι¢αn fans. j-hope just finished a 2-night tour in Jakarta, Indonesia with tens of thousands of enthusiastic fans.

Indonesian ARMYs welcomed j-hope back after 8 years since BTS last stopped in the country for their Wings Tour. j-hope also expressed his excitement after standing in front of local fans for a long time: “Before today’s concert started, I was just thinking about how long it’s been since I last came to Indonesia—this is my first time back since 2017. It really has been a long time, nearly eight years. I thought that because I’m seeing you again after so many years, I would give it my all. I wanted to show up looking my best and to show you the best version of myself."

It is worth noting that j-hope also spontaneously revealed an interesting fact about Indonesian fans, surprising other fans. It was about the large number of fans he has in this Asian country.

"Did you know this? It might be a fun fact. On Instagram, it shows the number of followers, and it even shows how many followers are from each country. And Indonesia is at the top! Maybe that’s why your reactions are always so pαѕѕionate", j-hope said when feeling the bustling atmosphere under the dome of the stadium.

He also did not forget to add that: "I’m truly, truly thankful that everyone had such an amazing and energetic time today, and I want to say that I love you all very much".

While we know that ARMY is huge all over the world, Indonesian fanbase is highly appreciated for its enthusiasm and almost the largest size of all. Even j-hope was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm that fans showed him throughout the 2 nights of performance.

Meanwhile, Indonesian fans also did not stop praising j-hope's dedication and the wonderful experience of attending his concert on SNS:

- hobi is super duper kind, always friendly and smiling. earlier, the im3 staff even said he’s the first artist they’ve handled with the longest send-off, always smiling at the staff, always saying thank you and please, doesn’t smoke & loves coffee and ice cream.

- Hobi wore gloves in Jakarta to be respectful and appropriate. Indonesia is a Muslim-majority country, and touching can be considered disrespectful and/or inappropriate. One more reason to love BTS, they always adapt to the local customs and cultures
