Since the discharge, Jin and j-hope have both been actively working on their solo albums and projects to fullfill the gap before full BTS members' reunion in mid-June. That has helped BTS's popularity not decrease and their presence in the global music market has been maintained even after being interrupted by military service.
In particular, j-hope recently concluded the last concert in נαραи as part of his global solo tour, completing the brilliant journey of his solo career.
Starting from February 28 this year, j-hope has stopped in 14 other cities around the world, all of which were two-night concerts. For nearly 30 concerts, j-hope has brought ARMYs impressive performances, vibrant atmospheres, and endless happiness.
On the contrary, j-hope himself also received love and enthusiastic support from millions of fans around the world. Therefore, in the last concert in נαραи, he burst into tears when sharing all his feelings after finishing his tour.
He started: "One last thing. I thought that this moment would never come back, so I worked hard until my body was broken. I really gave it my all at every performance (tears) I did my best even when I wasn't feeling well, and because this performance is very meaningful and important to me, I've worked hard to get to this point".
j-hope continued: "I thought I wouldn't cry once I turned 30. I thought I wouldn't cry once I finished my military service. I've said this before, but the moment a performance starts, I make a vow. I really took on this with a great sense of responsibility, and I approached every performance with a vow and determination, so I was overwhelmed with emotion. This has gotten long.
Just like at the Kyocera Dome, I think it was meaningful that we were able to make it this far without getting injured until the end. Enough about that now, let's continue enjoying the show! To be honest, I keep saying that this is the last song, but in reality there will be an encore."
“Everyone, just like the title of this performance, I'm happiest when I'm on stage. Isn't that the case for you all too? Unfortunately, it's not the last song. I'm sure you'll all enjoy it to the fullest until the very end. You'll enjoy it, right! Let's go into our own world. Wait a moment. So, this is it, HOPE ON THE STAGE! I'm your hope. You are my hope. I am J-HOPE!!", he ended his speech with tears of joy.
4 months of a tour seemed long but now it has come to an end of course, making everyone feel nostalgic. His sharing also made fans cry and they left many sweet messages to support him:
