Today is the day of the prestigious Golden Disc Award ceremony and j-hope was the representative of BTS to receive the group's award at this event. With all that BTS and ARMYs have done over the past year, they really have received the honors they deserve.

However, while accepting the award, j-hope also pointed out the group's changes this year along with a bit of regret at the absence of Jin. In particular, he also revealed about the group's gathering yesterday.

This really moved ARMYs and recalled the award ceremonies that BTS had appeared together before:

The 37th Golden Disc Award this year was held in Thailand and the awards ceremony went extremely well. This year, with solo activities, only j-hope representing BTS came to receive individual awards as well as group awards.

On behalf of BTS, j-hope sent thanks as well as meaningful speeches when receiving the prestigious awards of BTS. But the very moment that j-hope came up to receive the award alone also touched ARMYs because in the past 10 years, BTS has always appeared together.

Even when a member receives an individual award, they escort the member up to receive the award and then sit below to cheer like loyal fans. However, this year, j-hope did it all by himself and perhaps he also has feelings of loneliness and missing the members.

BTS has won 5 important awards at this year's GDA including: Album of the Year (Daesang) for "Proof" (6th consecutive year winning), Best Album (Bonsang), Tiktok Golden Disk Most Popular Artist, Inkisang, Thai Fans Support With Baoji (j-hope).The most prominent one is the Daesang Album Of The Year for the Proof album released this year. BTS extends their record as the artist with the most Daesangs of all-time (71).

When taking the stage to receive this prestigious award, j-hope gave a long speech to express his thoughts and gratitude for the award. He began as usual with the familiar call of ARMY: “ARMY! As a member of BTS, I’m here again to make an acceptance speech. It’s not easy to be a representative of BTS and I have so much respect for our leader RM. I don’t know if we could accept this award. But I will accept this to mean that it’s for our future.”

In it, j-hope emphasized that the journey of BTS and ARMY is not the end, but chapter 2 and many chapters after that are still waiting for us. j-hope also clearly shared the group's point of view when making this meaningful album: "We don’t make an album thinking about the accomplishments it might be but we put our soul and stories in this anthology and that’s how Proof came to be…

Looking back at our 10 years, though we have awesome sunbaes here, we realized how precious each and every song was best moment is yet to come. I think this phrase came about because we want to spend the future with you. I want to really thank our ARMYs."

Besides, j-hope also sent new year wishes to ARMYs, "I’m sorry, my speech is getting longer because I’m here alone. There are a lot of groups here today, and I want to congratulate and support them. I will also look forward to the day when we BTS members are here together. This album award is for our members. You worked so hard, I love you so much. Happy New Year!"

Most especially, at the end of the speech, j-hope also revealed an interesting thing that before his flight to Thailand today, he had been drinking with the BTS members. But he also expressed regret that in that gathering party was missing Jin - who is serving his military service.

He shared, “With the exception of Jin hyung who is in the military, the BTS members all had a drink for the first time in so long and nothing could be happier than that"

Through j-hope's speech, ARMYs had an extremely emotional evening with memories of BTS flooding back into their memories:
