j-hope Reveals He's A Fanboy Of “The World Wealthiest Female Musician“ & His Recent Curiosity About Her

j-hope released his latest single "Mona Lisa" on Friday (March 21), his first solo music release since the EP Hope on the Street Vol. released in March 2024.

Despite releasing a new song, j-hope continues to complete his North αмєяι¢αn tour. When he visited New York, he had a long conversation with iHeartRadio's Z100.

The interview was part of his promotion for his new song and shared some insights into what inspires his creativity. Notably, during the interview, j-hope also did not hesitate to share his great admiration for a female artist.

Specifically, the female MC of the show made a hypothetical request that if j-hope asked any artist in the music industry a question, who would he choose? Then, j-hope called out the "richest female singer in the world" Rihanna!

j-hope mentioned with excitement: “I’d like to ask Rihanna if she’s thinking about releasing a new album anytime soon. I love her music by pαѕѕion. I think that's soмєтнing that people who love Rihanna are all curious about. I really love her music & performances”.

Witnessing this moment of the BTS superstar, fans couldn't help but realize how much he loves the Barbados female artist. ARMYs were excited to see that j-hope is also a pαѕѕionate fan like any other normal person:

- THE WAY HE WAS FANBOYING, HES SO REAL

- Hobi I’m afraid we ain’t ever getting that album from the queen , it’s been 9 yrs

- That album ain’t coming anytime soon I fear….

- Rihanna catching strays from every direction about this album even Hobi is coming for my girl huh!

- HE'S JUST LIKE ME FR

- Hobi we ain’t neverrrr getting that album

- oh hobi let me hold your hand when I say this. she has retired, love

- He’s just like me riri pls come back

On the other hand, the reason j-hope mentioned Rihanna's new album is because in February this year, the female artist also hinted about releasing a new album after 8 years. Since the album "Anti" released in 2016, the female singer has not released any more music products, so the expectations of fans as well as j-hope himself are very high.

Rihanna also emphasized that her hiatus from music was not in vain, but rather a preparation for soмєтнing truly special: “It has to matter. I have to show them the worth in the wait. I cannot put up anything mediocre. After waiting eight years, you might as well just wait some more".

While she did not reveal any further details about the content or style of the album, Rihanna insisted that "This kind of album, not that album" and she felt very confident: "It’s going to be where my artistry deserves to be right now. I feel like I’ve finally cracked it, girl!”

Rihanna, on the other hand, started her career as a singer, but in less than two decades, the superstar has added CEO, businesswoman and billionaire to her list of accomplishments.

In 2022, she became the youngest self-made female billionaire in αмєяι¢α. She has also been named by Forbes for several years as "the wealthiest female musician in the world". The bulk of Rihanna's wealth comes from her successful cosmetics company Fenty Beauty, which she co-owns with French luxury retail giant LVMH.
