After wrapping up the European leg of their tour, BTS were given a 10-day break before resuming their schedule. The group is set to return to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey in early August to continue the tour, so the members have now begun making their way to the United States in preparation. кσяєαn media initially reported that j-hope and Jungkook would be the first members to depart on the morning of July 30, but their flight was later delayed. By the afternoon, the two were spotted arriving at Incheon International Airport in comfortable, casual outfits as they officially departed for New York.
As usual, j-hope and Jungkook warmly greeted fans and reporters waiting at the airport. One reporter asked the idols, "Did you get any rest?" Jungkook immediately replied, "No," leaving j-hope visibly surprised as he responded, "Why didn't you rest?" BTS's youngest member explained, "Even after I got back, my jet lag was just completely messed up." The relaxed atmosphere quickly led to another conversation—this time centered around the enormous bag Jungkook was carrying.

The conversation began when a reporter curiously asked whether Jungkook's bag was filled with camera equipment. Looking over at the younger member, j-hope jokingly remarked, "Jungkook upgraded his bag." The comment drew a surprised reaction from the reporter, while j-hope continued, "What's going on? Huh?" After hearing the reporter point out how heavy the bag looked, he laughed and added, "Out of all the bags I've seen, this is seriously the biggest. Seriously~ This is almost a record-breaker."
Curious to satisfy everyone's interest, Jungkook even unzipped the bag and showed what was inside. Seeing it packed with filming equipment, j-hope could only exclaim, "Crazy." Jungkook then proudly asked, "It looks super professional, right?" Later, j-hope took to his Instagram Story to share a photo of Jungkook carrying the oversized bag, letting fans know that the two were on their way to New York. His playful post made it clear that he was just as amused by Jungkook's "bag upgrade" as everyone else.
However, many fans were quick to point out that j-hope may have forgotten that Jungkook has been known for carrying oversized bags for years. From the iconic camouflage backpack he brought during Bon Voyage Season 2 in Hawaii, to the countless trips through airports around 2017 carrying multiple camouflage bags filled with filming equipment, to the black Louis Vuitton bag gifted by Jimin that he frequently used in 2018, and even his appearance at Incheon Airport in 2019 with a backpack slung over one shoulder and another large bag in hand, Jungkook has long had a habit of traveling with oversized luggage.

This time, however, the mαѕѕive case packed with professional filming gear convinced fans that Jungkook is taking his videography more seriously than ever. Earlier, he even revealed on his personal Instagram that he was looking for a professional video editor who could accompany him throughout the tour. According to Jungkook, all of the filming equipment would be provided by him—the editor would simply need to carry a backpack and travel alongside him.
Knowing how much effort and investment he has put into the project, fans are now even more excited to see the high-quality footage Jungkook is expected to capture throughout the upcoming leg of the tour:
