Jin recently finished the first night of his concert in Newark, USA, and after the performance on July 31, he will officially complete the U.S. leg of his tour and move on to the European leg, with the first two shows in London and Amsterdam in early August. Despite pouring a lot of energy into his stage performances, he still made time for fans through a late-night livestream.
Meanwhile, j-hope is almost Jin’s most “enthusiastic fan,” frequently supporting him — from watching his concerts to leaving comments during the eldest BTS member’s solo broadcasts. However, that support also comes with the “responsibility of supervision” from BTS’s “dance leader.”
A few days ago, Jin was lovingly scolded by j-hope for α¢¢ι∂єитally forgetting the lyrics while performing on stage. In the comments, j-hope wrote: “You got the lyrics wrong???,” which left Jin flustered, trying to come up with an excuse.
But of course, Jin’s gift of gab helped him pαѕѕ j-hope’s test, and the eldest member of BTS even turned the tables to “lecture” his younger brother: “j-hope, don’t live like that. People make mistakes. You can get it wrong, you have to live like that… messing up the lyrics a little is no big deal. Have you never made a mistake? Actually, you probably never have. Because you’re a pro. But I’m a pro too!”
And today, Jin continued his defensive streak when j-hope once again “caught” a mistake in his performance during a livestream. This time, it had to do with their friendship, and j-hope even expressed disappointment over Jin’s mistake.
Specifically, the situation was brought up when Jin noticed j-hope had left a comment, and he immediately exclaimed: “Oh someone came in! j-hope! j-hope, my bro! Today on Run Seokjin, the answer to one of the questions was ‘j-hope’ and I didn’t get it right. I’m sorry, j-hope! Sorry my bro!”
As it turns out, during a fan interaction quiz segment, Jin had failed to guess that the correct answer was “j-hope” — and this clearly left the man himself quite “hurt.” j-hope commented: “I'm disappointed big time, bruh.” Faced with the “reproach” from his beloved younger brother, Jin immediately switched into full-on dramatic defense mode.
“j-hope, bro, sorry, sorry, my bro! I didn’t get it wrong because I wanted to. The fans showed me the answer in a really difficult way. One of the men suddenly pulled up his shirt and did a wave. And everyone were doing this waves arms above head and doing the wave. I was going, what is this? And I said, ‘Um, wave?’ But I was wrong and they said the answer was ‘j-hope’. I’m sorry for my fault. That thing, j-hope,” he said.
Jin’s way of “defending” himself by using ARMYs as a humorous excuse was both genuine and funny, leaving fans laughing out loud. Last time, he couldn’t use ARMYs as a reason for his stage slip-up — but this time, he had a solid excuse… even though the fans had mimicked j-hope’s signature wavy move from “Killin It Girl” in great detail.
Although j-hope appeared “disappointed,” he still couldn’t criticize further — because ARMYs were standing in front of Jin as his shield!
Fans left amused comments about how Jin managed to escape j-hope’s pressing twice:
- Threw us right under the bus ahah
- Not him blaming ARMYs! They did so well
- jin saw dude abs and immediately went blank not suspicious at all
- not him shifting blames to armys to escape Hobi's pressing
- He had to appease hobi so he threw us under the bus
- It's okay Hobi, Jin will buy you another expensive gold stuff to repay it
- Jhope n Jin really love each other..always support each other
- I can hear hobi giggling and rolling while typing this
- He snitched on himself so fast knowing Hobi already knew just like he knew when they mess up on their dances
- That was soooo funny! Jin threw ARMYs to avoid j-hope's critics
- Jin using ARMY as a human shield to dodge J-Hope’s disappointment is so unserious. this man will NEVER take an L without a fιgнт
- j-hope calling Jin out with ‘I’m disappointed big time bruh’ and Jin immediately spiraling into a dramatic apology monologue… THIS is why I stan them
