Most ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾an men must enlist between the ages of 18 and 28. The seven members of BTS, between the ages of 25 and 30, are entitled to postpone their enlistment until the age of 30 because of their contributions to ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾a. 

Meanwhile, the BTS members have started their m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ enlistment plans from June 2022 with Jin being the first to enlist in December, when he turns 30. Next, j-hope will be a member. The second member of BTS started his enlistment journey when he just turned 30.

j-hope's enlistment schedule has not been announced, however, some industry insiders have provided some information about his enlistment case:

Military service in South ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾a is an almost universal experience for young men. Conscription usually lasts between 18 and 24 months, depending on the branch of the m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷. After the men fulfilled their duty, they became part of the reserve force and could be mobilized in the event of a conflict.

South ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾a is technically still at war with North ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾a and tensions between the two governments frequently flare up, although there has been no active engagement between the militaries. That is why, in this country, enlistment is a responsibility that is prioritized and strictly respected.

As one of the ideals of ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾an youth, Jin was the first BTS member to fulfill this duty. Not only that, he is currently doing very well his role as a teaching äṩṩistant, an exemplary sol∂ιєr at Yeoncheon Training Center.

Following on from Jin, j-hope announced his next enlistment plans after submitting an application to cancel his m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ service in late February, after his 30th birthday. According to some news like when Jin enlisted, j-hope may receive a summons from the army about 1 month after submitting the application.

Of course, it can also depend on other conditions but usually not beyond the above time. This also means that j-hope will be enlisting from the end of March to the end of April. During this period of about 1 month, that's the period of time when j-hope will complete the final content for ARMYs and spend time. time for friends and family.

Meanwhile, after finishing the recent episode of the show Jay Park's Drive, j-hope posted on Instagram a status line. Here, j-hope consulted with ARMYs about what he showed on the show along with showing his love for the fans.

Also, it's worth noting that j-hope also warned fans about his return soon during a talk on Weverse Live - this talk is considered to be the last talk before j-hope enlisted in the army. He wrote on Instagram that: "Did you watch Drive well? :) I actually watched with you right after I returned back from my schedule hee. As I was watching it, I could feel the tension that I felt at that time...The atmosphere at the location was so good, and though I did my best.

As always, while watching, I again felt a bit regret at my performance. I’m so thankful to the Drive staff who showed my lacking self in the best way and to Jay Park who coolly/amazingly led me. I also want to thank our ARMY and the general public who watched/enjoyed.

Previously, j-hope also promised fans to return to Weverse Live to talk to them before enlisting. So many believe this is the last chance to talk to j-hope before not being able to see him for the next 2 years:

- The fear and sadness a little sentence can evoke…normally we’d celebrate a live

- And now I'm never gonna be able to fall asleep for fear of m̾i̾s̾s̾i̾n̾g his visit.

Some other sources in the industry claim that j-hope has enlisted and demobilized dates with the unit he will be training in. It includes enlistment at the end of March and he won't be back until early 2025.

Meanwhile, the information about which barracks j-hope will participate in training has not been revealed. Previously, Jin who enlisted last year was äṩṩigned to be stationed at the Yeoncheon m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ base, near the border with North ̾k̾o̾r̾e̾a. Currently he is still completing his m̷i̷l̷i̷t̷a̷r̷y̷ service here.
